The microwave was purchased to complete the change to stainless steel in the kitchen. It works beautifully, however, Samsung has a built in 3 to 5 minute 'resting' period after any application taking more than three or four minutes. I did call Samsung to see if it could be disconnected and it cannot.
This was driving everyone in the house, including me, crazy. When I have the time to learn all of the functions, it will probably be wonderful but I will first have to accept the wait time to open the door after cooking. In the meantime, I moved my other microwave back into the kitchen and the new one is now in the pantry. I would recommend this but with reservations because of the timing lock out.

An oven that works!

This is the first ceramic top electric stove I've owned so I don't have a comparison as far as the burners go. They are incredibly fast to heat up but it does take a while for the stove top to cool. This does create an issue if you want the kitchen dishes and appliances cleaned at one time. That being said, the wonderful, fantastic oven makes up for it. I am able to bake on both shelves at one time with even heating for both, the oven heats up quickly, and the temperature is true to the settings.

The showcase refrigerator is great for a family - showcase door will hold all of the beverages you need for a family of 4 without having to search through the refrigerator; the interior shelves are not as deep because of the showcase door but definitely keep the refrigerator better organized. The icemaker could be an issue for some since it is usually a combination of cubes and crushed ice.

It does track sleep time which may not be necessary but is very interesting and informative.

can you try them on in the store? with arthritis in my fingers want to make sure I can get it on and off
I would highly recommend a Fitbit that has a watch type clasp. The closure on the Alta requires the ability to clasp fingers tightly to get it into the little pegs. Fitbit also makes a tracker that can be attached to your belt, lapel, pocket loop as well that might be better.
