I have used this projector several times and found it to work very well with my Win 7 laptop. I have been able to use all controls and they worked as described. I am very pleased with its images.

EX5220 Wireless Capability

It's a nice machine but I was thinking I could use the wireless feature with other software--like Powerpoint. You can only project wirelessly through the Epson proprietary "iProjector" app. I bought it thinking it would work wirelessly with Powerpoint.

I have a Surface Pro and purchased a Epson Projector to use in my presentations. However, it only comes with a disk to load the driver on to a commuter, Daaaaa!, no dvd disk drive. on the Surface or any of the other new type of new pc's. Most all people who are making presentations are going to the new pc's. Why not a stick drive versus the DVD disk?

Set-up Difficulties
on December 1, 2013

This is my first projector, limited experience in using this kind of device, no experience in set-up. Projector works great, some "hot smell" during the first 30 minutes of operation. I don't like the fact that a hard copy manual is not included; need to create a link to download or read the manual.
Projector has several input options, after one hour, the only input option I could use was the was the HDMI cable, unable to get the USB cable or the flash drive to work (hence the desire for the printed manual).
After this experience, I am not looking forward to attempting to "project wirelessly."
Projector was well packaged and included a basic carrying case.

Not so easy setup!?

This is our second Epson product. The first is still working but we needed a Wireless projector to go with the new Laptop with Windows 8.1. After five hours, one and a half of which we where on with Epson help, we got it to connect. The guy did a great job with us on the phone walking us through the steps needed to make it work. Turns out that we had to do a bunch of stuff on to the Laptop to get it to talk with the projector. The Epson guy said we would only have to do it once. We hope that is the case. He said it would be very easy with older versions of Microsoft. It is not however with 8.1. If you are good at computers it wont be a problem for you but if you are not real good at them it will take a while! Once it came on it was great. love the features and great picture.

This unit is easy to transport from place to place. Can focus picture easily. Also has a remote controller. One problem I am having is getting the internet to work on wireless the same time I am trying to get other wireless features to work at the same time.

HDMI Issue
on July 15, 2014

Everything runs well, the connectivity is ok, but i had a Issue when i connect my PS3 via HDMI there is a noise (like a problema with the fan). i used a regular HDMI cable, the same when i use it to connect my lap to the projector whitout no problem. I search the problema to fix it, but i doesnt find anything about it, anyone can help?
Another issue is that i cant Project web pages or Netflix via WIFI, because i need to used another server disconnecting the internet signal, the solution that i find is connecting using my HDMI from mi lap. Never Works with my PS3.
