love this convertible fridge/freezer!

With 12 children, 8 still at home, & 21 grandchildren visiting me, we often have big family gatherings. Every single day requires a great deal of food to feed my crowd. I actually bought two of these convertible fridge/freezer units to supplement my side-by-side unit, & I'm so glad I did! They sit beside each other in what used to be the breakfast room; one is used as a fridge, the other a freezer, but as I have two chest freezers as well, I can easily convert them both into refrigerators when I need to. They are well designed & the innovation of a convertible unit is just what I needed!

We have wanted a stand alone refrigerator without a freezer for some time. It is in our garage and full of soda, beer, wine, a bushel of baking apples, apple juice, bird suet, etc. It has helped us clean out and organize the garage. It will be wonderful for the holiday season when we have a houseful of children and grandchildren.

We needed a new refrigerator and already have a full size freezer so I thought it made perfect sense to get a full size refrigerator as well. I have twin, teen boys and just couldn't keep the old fridge full due to limits on space. Not a problem now! There is more than enough available space and I am very pleased with my decision!

I like the freezer. It replaces an old one of the same size. The door can be set to open from left or right, which is a very nice feature! It is a bit noisy, and I have noticed that items in the freezer are quite frosty on the outside. It is keeping things solid and cold!
