No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my new dishwasher. I have a small living/kitchen area and the dishwasher is very quiet. I appreciate the fact it pops open and the end to help release moisture dry the dishes. My dishes have been clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it for about a month and installed it easily myself. I am very pleased with how it cleans. I set it on "Auto" and everything comes out sparkling. I really like how the door opens for the last 10 minutes of drying.
My biggest complaint is the bottom rack does not always slide out easily. It feels sometimes like you have to drag it out depending on the weight and position of the loaded dishes.
Also the water intake valve is in the rear of the unit. If the water intake filter ever needs to be cleaned or if a leak develops, the whole dishwasher will have to be pulled out to deal with it and then reinstalled.
Otherwise I am very happy with this dishwasher. It's quiet, looks good, is reasonably priced, and most of all, it cleans the dishes remarkably well.
