2 bad sensors and PCB main board in less than 4 years

Bought this new I n 11/2013, in 11/2014 the sensor and PCB main board went bad. Fortunately I had the Geek Squad warranty, and it was replaced free of charge. Almost 2 years later, and the SMART AUTO light is blinking. At first, it would run for 20 minutes and stop. Now it won't even load water or run for 3 minutes, until it shuts off. Unfortunately, my warranty ran out. I will eventually buy another dishwasher, but it will NOT be a Samsung.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Junk just frustrating junk

I agree with all the one star reviews. The draining and sensor system cause the dishwasher to smell if not run frequently. The sensors cause false alarms and will not allow the dishwasher to run a cycle.

I bought this dishwasher about 13 months ago. I paid almost $750.00. The dishwasher stopped working today. I find out that the control panel is toast. It will cost $350.00 to replace. Needles to say that is not going to happen.

This dishwasher has been a headache from the first week. It’s beem repaired so many times I lost count. The repairman has been here this year 4 times. The dishwasher is 3 years old & I just purchased a new one to replace this piece of junk! BTW it’s NOT A SAMSUNG as many repairmen have told me to stay away from! What does that tell you?? Read the reviews & do your homework. Many friends have problems with their Samsung appliances also!

Less than a year old and doesn't work

i purchased this product for my wife for a valentines gift in feb of 2020. it's dec 2020 and it no longer functions. the digital touch pad on the top has stopped functioning altogether and won't turn on at all. it was glitchy to begin with where it would not turn on at all, then a few days later you would touch it and it would turn on (yes i cleaned it) now it's just dead. seems like the control panel has died.
also , there seems to be something wrong with the cycling of the pump. there is always standing water in the bottom after a full cycle. you have to start a new cycle and let the pump kick on and it pumps the water out. i then stop the cycle and all the water is pumped out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delivering damaged product

samsung delivered us a broken product and is making you jump through hoops to have it repaired and replaced. we have been calling support since it was delivered (ran twice before leak error), and it took 2 technicians 6 weeks to find that there was major damage on the underside of the dishwasher causing the leak. samsung is making its customers jump through hoops to get a brand new product repaired or replaced, when the unit was delivered with this damage.

can not trust Samsung from now

i bought samsung top control 48dba dishwasher on 11/11/20 and that took 1 moth to install and from day 2 it was start dish washer stop working.
when i tried to get it fixed, samsung refused to fix saying they do not have any one within 70 ml of my location. and also they can not give me new unit because they don't have inventory. and they are returning the amount which is thanks giving price.
i think this is a best example of samsung and costco who are protecting the consumer rights.

we are deeply disappointed with this dishwasher and its warranty. since we bought it 3 years ago, it has been nothing but trouble. lc went off few times, we contacted samsung who punted us to home depot, it was inspected 2 times and after the second time, we were told it had physical damage, that is not covered under the protection plan. we bought all our home appliances from samsung and spent thousands of dollars including warranties, to get this disappointing outcome. now, we are left with a broken dishwasher, financial loss, and mental stress. based on our experience as a whole, we would not recommend this appliance, nor your service to anyone.
