Very disappointed

Had multiple parts fail within 3 years of installing. My appliance repair person recommended I get a new machine at this point rather than replacing all the parts.

Garbage

Purchased 2 years ago and apparently the motor died today. Made a huge noise sounding like a garbage disposal so we turned it off and took all the dishes out now it just fills with water and does nothing. It barely got the dishes clean to begin with and now I have a dead unit sitting in my kitchen. Crazy that nothing lasts anymore and everything is out of warranty

This might be the worst dishwasher ever. We thought we’d loving having a 3rd rack for utensils. Our friends have a different brand and love theirs. But our utensils are never clean. Every load 1/2 of the utensils are dirty, oily, etc. We more often than not have dirty bowls and plates too. I typically have to hand wash 1/3 if the entire load after running the dishwasher. We’ve tried many different ways of arranging our items, we make sure not to overload it, we’ve tried different cleaning products, we’ve tried adding more cleaner for the pre wash, etc. We are so unhappy with this dishwasher. We wish we could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A few good months

Purchased in May of 2022. Worked great for a while. Then, started getting loads with lots of dishes still dirty, despite using high-quality detergent and rinse aid. After less than a year, it started making louder and louder noises while washing. Finally, it stopped working altogether. Technician looked at it and says there's an internal leak with water dripping onto the motor, which caused it to become corroded/rusted. Eventually the motor just shorted out and now it's completely shot. It will cost almost as much to replace this part as the original cost of the dishwasher. Of course the 1-year warranty period is over, and good luck getting any help from Samsung support. I do not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this diswasher for 3 months now and would put my old Maytag back in if I could. All the plastic items are soaking wet and have to be hand dried everytime. There is no dry setting. I hate it.
