Faulty dishwasher

I bought this product almost a year ago and it keeps throwing the lc code due to water leaking from the dishwasher and gathering in the tray on the bottom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it successfully runs it's fine, but these days that's a rare occurrence. Not long after the warranty expired, it started throwing 0C and LC codes randomly. OC seems to be a common occurrence on this model, with some having to modify the location of the leak detection sensor to resolve. For the 0C, it seems any level of suds is too much for this thing to handle, so if any suds are in the bottom of the unit, we have to pour water over them to dissipate, then hopefully the DW runs without issue. This washer came with my house and we're already looking at non-Samsung options to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

racks are rusting already

I'm disappointed in this dishwasher. The racks started to rust almost immediately and it is no longer quiet. Aside from that, it cleans ok and looks nice. But with the fact that i'm still paying it off, it's disheartening that it isn't better quality.

Awful. Another let down from Samsung appliances. No longer properly cleaning after less than 2 years. Spent hours trying to fix it. Will not clean 2 out of 3 racks anymore.

Poor quality racking / rusting quickly

The plastic coating on the racking is coming off in many places after less than 3 years. The metal frames of the racks are rusting in multiple places and have even rusted all the way through in places. The racking is supposed to have a 5 year warranty, but trying to file a claim is almost impossible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Junk. Quit washing properly within weeks of purchase. The buttons are so sensitive if you just brush up against them the whole thing turns off. Nothing is clean no matter what setting. We even rinse every dish off before putting them in.
