Great when it works!

Got in 2022 and worked well enough. Main control board fried recently and warranty leaves a lot to be desired (not covered with out paying a tech half of the cost of replacing the whole thing to “evaluate”) cleans well enough when it works, but would have expected to last longer than <4 years without a major failure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a Samsung dishwasher model # DW80R5060US/AA. It's beautiful but is a pile of crud.
For an appliance that costs close to $1000, it's ridiculous that we've had a repair person to the house THREE different times. He said Samsung is the worst brand out there and the brand he gets the most repair calls for. The dishwasher is less than two years old. I will NEVER purchase anything that is Samsung ever again and by the reviews shown here...no one else should either. So disappointing. This company should be embarrassed to cheat the hard-working people who purchase their products.

Racking rusts and falls apart

I do like how quiet it is, and we've had good luck with how well it washes dishes, however the racking started rusting within the first year, and by the third year it was literally falling apart.
Thankfully, they do warranty the racking for 5 years, so it is getting replaced, but I'm sure the same thing will just happen again, and purchasing replacement racking is so expensive that we'll just replace the whole dishwasher with another brand when that happens.
Somehow our previous dishwasher lasted well over 10 years with it's original racking. Seriously disappointed with the poor durability of Samsung appliances, and will look elsewhere in the future.
Thankfully, they do warranty the racking for 5 years, so it is getting replaced, but I'm sure the same thing will just happen again, and purchasing replacement racking is so expensive that we'll just replace the whole dishwasher with another brand when that happens.

I have had many dishwashers in my life and this one is the absolute worst dishwasher we have ever owned!! I have to pre scrub and pre wash all the dishes before loading them. Any food on the dishes will still be there once the wash is over. It’s the absolute worst appliance I have ever owned. We usually love Samsung but this is a dud!

Would not recommend

We ordered this dishwasher and within 2 months there was a sensor light on indicating a leak. It was "fixed" while under warranty, however, a year later there was a potent burning smells. Turns out the leak wasn't fixed and damaged parts in the back to the point where it burned wires. Would not recommend this product.

This is the dumbest design. Samsung has ever come up with. It does clean the dishes as well, however, it is a real task to clean the filter. I Have added photos to show the parts you have to take out, in order to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it 18 months ago and I had trouble twice already. I get an OC signal and it stops in the middle of the cycle. The second time it was fixed it started running good
