Drain Pump Flaw

Purchased this dishwasher is 2022. After 3 years the Drain Pump needs to be replaced. My previous dishwasher lasted 12 to 14 years with household of 7 and this Samsung product went 3 years with household of 2 people. Very disappointed , no longer going to be a loyal Samsung customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken Unit

Yet another review based on a broken machine after a few years. As other comments mentioned, our unit had some internal electrical issue and was emitting an odor of burnt plastic. I removed the unit and found water under in the lower electrical compartment. I even found some You Tube videos talking about this issue for the this very machine - but unfortunately no solutions (other than dry it out and see if it works - it didn't for me).
Despite the catchy branding name (i.e., StormWatch), when our unit was working we had cleaning performance issues. As others have noted, the dishes often did not seem to get clean - bowls and cups in particular.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
