Good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes a bit to know the loading set up. It's different from what I'm used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really quiet dishwasher!
on April 7, 2022

this dishwasher is really quiet when it's running. the finish is really fingerprint resistant, as well. the controls are easy to use and intuitive.
most of the time, it does a really good job of getting everything clean. we have found, though, that when you have more than 2 pots/pans in the bottom rack, there is some residue left on some dishes. like the water doesn't get sprayed everywhere.
i was also concerned about whether the dishes would be completely dry at the end of the cycle since there is no heated drying. i must say i'm very impressed with how dry the dishes get! the only water left anywhere is on the bottoms of those glasses that have a lip that's big enough to trap the water. everywhere else is completely dry.
overall, i would recommend this dishwasher!

Large decoration disguised as a dishwasher
on February 2, 2023
Posted by: bsuyematsu
This looks sleek and is quiet, I'll give it that, but there are all sorts of issues, big and small.
Small: the drying of dishes is poor, like many other reviews state. This isn't a huge deal, but not ideal for a dishwasher.
Big: I have constantly had issues with this doing what a dishwasher is supposed to do - you know, wash dishes with water. It originally had a problem with the mainboard that the unit came with. It took two trips to diagnose this and then replace it from a Samsung professional. Upon installation of the new mainboard, this one was also faulty and had other errors. So I'll be waiting for a 3rd mainboard to be shipped and have another tech come out to install and hope it's not faulty as well.
In addition to that, I regularly get an error code indicating a leak. No leak has ever been found in front, under, behind, to the left, the right, under the sink, anywhere. This error leaves the dishwasher out of commission until it decides it no longer detects a leak.

Hi bsuyematsu,

We thank you for your detailed review of your Samsung dishwasher model.

We are hopeful that the mainboard had arrived and was installed by an authorized service technician on your dishwasher model, to which, this dishwasher operates as intended.

I have shared a Samsung link to help you when a Samsung dishwasher does not dry dishes.

Worst dishwasher I've ever seen
on September 20, 2023
Posted by: Parsons
from South Dakota
This is the worst dishwasher I've ever seen. Dishes come out dirty on every single load. Glasses, bowls, jars, silverware, plates - it doesn't matter. We use Cascade Ultra detergent and Jet-Dri rinse aid. We've run loads of vinegar and dishwasher cleaner through it a dozen times at least. I've removed the bottom filter and cleaned it, but it made no difference. This unit does not have a twist-out filter, so cleaning the filter is a huge hassle. It doesn't even mention doing so in the user manual, so it doesn't appear to be designed with that in mind. In any case, it didn't make any difference.
The unit is about 2 1/2 years old and has been garbage from the day we got it.
Save yourself a headache and buy anything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Detergent Dispenser Failed After Two Years
on January 15, 2024
Posted by: Matty
I purchased this unit in November of 2021. Two weeks ago the detergent dispenser stopped opening. I did some research and ended up replacing the detergent dispenser as well as the main control board. Neither of these things resolved the issue. Nothing is blocking the dispenser from opening, and the dispenser is free of any debris. I chatted with someone online, they ran me through some very basic troubleshooting (make sure the water is hot enough, make sure the dispenser isn't obstructed, etc, then just said "it's not in warranty, you'll have to get a paid repair." This machine is two years old, with very normal usage. It should not already be having major mechanical failures. Highly disappointed, I would regret giving them my business and would not recommend any Samsung products.

Didn’t even last a year, don’t recommend unless you want your dishwasher to break and go without for a week until someone comes to hopefully fix it.

This is the dumbest design. Samsung has ever come up with. It does clean the dishes as well, however, it is a real task to clean the filter. I Have added photos to show the parts you have to take out, in order to clean.

Too utensil rack breaks spray arm bracket
on October 3, 2025
Posted by: Cmac0229
from Denver Colorado
The tip utensils bracket is mounted so high it collides with the spray arm bracket which is junk and disconnected it from the roof of the washer. There is no way to reconnect the bracket to the room so the spray arm will stay above the rack. The rack has to be removed because now the spray arm brackets hangs while it’s unsecured to the room.
