this is great til u use "heavy" setting and it makes a buzzing noise in mid cycle. Annoying, especially when this is supposed to be quiet !! the stainless steel also needs to be cleaned constantly !
Cons: Did not meet expectations, buzzing noises/stainless needs constant cleaning

Regretful Purchase

We purchased this dishwasher for our new home along with several other Samsung Stainless steel appliances for our kitchen August 2014. As for this dishwasher...well the only thing good I can say about it is that it matches my other appliances and looks nice. But that is about all it is good for. From the beginning I have pretty much hand wash all our dishes because this dishwasher uses a lot of electricity and water, which I wouldn't mind but it doesn't even get the dishes clean! I have always been one who pre washes my dishes but that doesn't even help with this thing. No matter what setting I put it on, no matter what dishwasher detergent I buy, NOTHING helps get my dishes clean. The dishwasher from day 1 has been a regretful purchase. Oh and not to mention it's like it never shuts off! Even after the dishes are "dry" the heat element seems to stay on. It makes for a very nasty odor...and I have even used dishwasher cleaners several times and that doesn't help either. Again MOST REGRETFUL PURCHASE ON APPLIANCES EVER!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with your Dishwasher, Linman. Since the DW80F600UTS doesn't use a heating element to dry the dishes, it's likely the odor you're smelling has another cause. I would suggest clicking on the link below to go to the online Troubleshooting page, where you'll find a number of tips for addressing odors and cleaning performance, along with other information: http://bit.ly/1Ca4YQG
Specifically, issues with cleaning performance can usually be corrected by cleaning the spray nozzles, and making sure your home's water pressure and incoming water temperature meet the recommended settings. Odors may be an indication that the area around the door seals needs to be wiped down, or perhaps the food particles that are clogging the spray nozzles are the cause. Other solutions for removing odors can be found on page 20 of the User Manual.
It may also interest you to know that as an Energy Star rated Dishwasher, the DW80F600UTS typically uses far less water than hand-washing (see Energy Star's website for more information).
I hope these suggestions help to improve your Dishwasher's performance!

I got a lemon

I purchased this dishwasher and it broke after 16 months. I repaired it myself and now it broke again at 20 months. Do not buy this.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design Flaw

Hot steam plus cool external air equals warm condensed water. This is supposed to be a drying mode? I have to dry EVERY SINGLE LOAD even when using Jet Dry and Sanitize. I can't wait for it to break so I can replace it.
Pros: stainless tub, simple operation
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor drying
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
