Nice dishwasher

Replaced my 12 year old KitchenAid dishwasher, since it caught on fire, with this Samsung brand. Very similar design to our KitchenAid. Works well, a little louder than I thought it would be from the way the salesman told us. Drawback, if you open dishwasher during mid cycle to add a dish, you have to push start again and the cycle starts over from the beginning. Make sure you have added everything you want before you start. Dishes are not as sparkling clean as I think they should be since it is brand new. I am using the recommended detergent and rinse aid. And even after drying cycle is finished, top row still holds water, does not completely dry dishes like my previous dishwasher. One other issue, leave the door cracked because the unit holds all smells and odors from dishes before you are able to run a wash cycle. I always clean off dishes before loading the dishwasher.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: does not dry very well, holds smell, have to restart dishwasher if opened during cycle

I love my Samsung dishwasher! The first time I used it, I wasn't sure if it was actually running because it is amazingly quiet! It gets the dishes very clean and is easy to use. Very high-tech and sleek. I would highly recommend it.

We bought the entire appliance package in stainless steel for our newly remodeled kitchen.. We got everything in a set: the range, the french door-in-door fire, an overhead microwave & a dishwasher. We couldn't be happier with the way things look & work, and with the deal we got. We'd heard a lot about the quality of Samsung products, and now that we've had them for a few months, we'd highly recommend Samsung for anyone looking for home appliances!

Love the hidden buttons so the kids don't press them and turn on the dishwasher. We love the no heating element for drying. We no longer have to worry about a plastic cup falling to the bottom and melting.
