Dishwasher won't clean and Samsung won't repair it. Called numerous time about issue and they will not resolve the problem.

Broken detergent dispenser at 2.5 years

The dishwasher works great until all of a sudden, it doesn't. We are only 2 years into using it when the detergent dispenser stopped working abruptly so the unit doesn't release detergent or rinse aid. Even if you drop the rinse aid in the basin, the dishes stay wet through the dry cycle because the rinse aid won't come out. We paid money for a repair visit and were told the replacement part was exorbitantly expensive. There's a reason the warranty is so short--do not buy this dishwasher. I'm truly disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spotty Performance

We've had this dishwasher for a few months now and while it's a beautiful and quiet machine, it just isn't doing the job I expect of it. I found that if I don't "pre-wash" the dishes before I put them in, it just doesn't get the dishes cleaned. The utensils come out filthy. I've followed the advice for loading, also with no success. I've also verified that the water is definitely getting hot enough, and my house has pretty good water pressure. I'm actually going to be opening a warranty case, but as it stands now, I wouldn't feel right recommending this product.
Pros: looks great, very quiet operation
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this dishwasher for almost a year and am already having a technician come out for a second time. The 1st time they replaced the "brain" and it worked for while but now my machine stops in the middle of a cycle, drains the water and starts flashing buttons. I don't think this machine cleans very well either. I still have to scrub my dishes before I put them in.. The only thing that I really like about it is that my dishes fit in it better than my last dishwasher and it is extremely quiet. . This machine seems to be very temperamental. If everything isn't perfectly aligned then it doesn't work properly. Very unsatisfied...

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Warranty lasts 12 months. At 13 months parts started to fail.

Unfortunately we had to return this item. About a week after purchase we began getting errors on the control panel. Tech came out and said that our drain line was too high and pump could not accommodate. Well, we were not about to spend $250 with a plumber to rearrange a drain line that had never before caused an issue. We returned this unit and bought a different brand and have had no issues now after several months. Whatever the pump issue is, Samsung needs to address it.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
