Horrible after one month

it doesn't clean well. a glass with some residue of banana smoothie which i could handwash with a sponge and practically zero pressure comes out of this dirty, even if i start the cycle immediately after putting the glass in.
on the other hand, it does a fine job stripping the embossing and paint from pint glasses and coffee mugs. these same pint glasses and mugs were cleaned fine for years in a kenmore washer.
utensils on the third rack don't get clean well. slightly better in the baskets on the bottom, but still not clean.
it literally has no space for actual bowls. simple correlle bowls are too deep to fit nicely in any place.
if you want the outside of your dishes scrubbed blank but not the inside, get this piece of junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Samsung Stormwash Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our StormWash 48dBA Dishwasher arrived and was installed with no problems. I am thoroughly impressed! This dishwasher is a very quiet dishwasher. You can barely hear it. I thought the one we had previously was quiet but this might be the quietest dishwasher I've come across. We purchased the stainless steel version and it goes incredibly well with our kitchen. It is appealing to the eye and has a more modern look than our old dishwasher.
We were initially hesitant to purchase this model because we weren't sure how well it would actually clean the dishes. It is not just a pretty dishwasher, it actually cleans better than any other dishwasher I've used. The cleaning power is one to be reckoned with! Even with teenagers stacking sometimes incorrectly, the dishes still come clean. Impressive to say the least!
Aesthetically, the StormWash 48dBA does not disappoint. The touch control panel is extremely easy to use and offers several options for washing and drying. Our previous dishwasher had a touch control panel too but it was covered in a layer of plastic and afterwhile, started to separate from the panel which wasn't appealing. This is not the case with this dishwasher. It's easy to clean fingerprints and food that may get stuck on the panel. It also offers a third rack at the top for utensils.
One of the most impressive features is that it offers several different washing features. These features include Hi-Temp Wash, Storm Wash and Rinse Only to name a few. It also has a sanitation option as well. With so many options, it gives you the option of co-mingling. For example I can choose Normal Wash, Sanitize, High Temp options all at the same time. We have a large family so meals can become creative and messy. The Storm Wash is great for these kinds of meals. My daughter has made a dessert that included marshmallows as one of the ingredients and we all know how hard it is to clean marshmallows once it has dried on a dish. We didn't even have to rinse the dish with marshmallows before we put it in and it came out clean as a whistle! Lastly, for convenience, the dishwasher has a neon blue light that indicates that the dishwasher is in use. This is helpful for the kids when they are unsure if it is running because again, it is a very quiet dishwasher.
Overall, this is probably of the best dishwashers I've purchased, if not the best! We are very pleased with our purchase and look forward to it lasting a long time.

An awesome upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first thing it the sleek and elegant look i love that the buttons are hidden on the top, so you don’t have to see them until you need them. our old dishwasher always let you know it was running so it was never used if we were using the living room since we could hear it while watching tv. the 3rd rack is an awesome bonus feature. it makes it so easy to load small items and utensils. my pet peeve from the old washer was that drying was always an issue. with the auto-release function on the samsung washer my dishes are always perfect. so yeah, i’m very satisfied with this purchase, the quality, the quietness, the design are all winners.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet Stainless Steel Cleaning Machine
on July 21, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This quiet stainless steel cleaning machine, does a really good job of cleaning dishes considering its the responsibility of my two children (7 and 12) to load it. I don't know if your kids are like mine but they would rival a NASCAR pit crew on the time they spend loading this thing and yet the dishes came out clean over and over. Installation was a breeze its just like every other dishwasher install.... Water Line, Drain line, and Power Cord! The machine is very well insulated for sound and thermal transfer and also comes with a adhesive sticker that sticks to the underside of your counter to help protect it from the drying process which I thought was a great idea. Another feature I like is that it has a light for when its low on rise aid so you don't have to figure it out the hard way wondering why your dishes are spotting and still wet. The fingerprint resistance on this thing was way better than I expected with younger kids that have to touch everything, speaking of touching everything, you can also lock the buttons on the dishwasher so if you have little ones they can't wash your load of dishes 20x its pretty simple just press and old the sanitize button for 3 secs and a lock light shows up to let you know its engaged. The only thing I would change about the dishwasher and this is minor is that I would put indicator light that signals when the dishes are clean. The machine during the last 10-15 minutes of the run will pop open the door some to aid in the drying of the dishes which is a nice feature, but my issue with a busy house whole is that someone always seems to close it after its ran and your wondering if the dishes in it or clean or not, its a game of choose and loose :)
