So Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife was looking for a new dishwasher and came across the StormWash™ 48 dBA Dishwasher in Black Stainless Steel. It is a very nice looking and matches our Samsung Fridge. The dishwasher is really quite, there are times I don't even realize it is on. The third rack is great for long utensils. The run time on auto is 2:30 minutes., a bit longer then our old dishwasher. The adjustable rack is very convenient. I really like that the door pops open when the drying cycle is complete.

Best Dishwasher I ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely pleased with my new Samsung dishwasher. I cannot believe how quiet this machine is, I find myself checking to make sure I turned it on as I am so used to a noisy machine. It is easy to arrange all dishes, pots, and utensils. The third rack is exactly what I needed, perfect for those items that cannot go in the normal utensil rack, really a life saver. The control panel is on top of the door instead of the front, which I love, as I do not need to worry about anyone accidentally turning on the machine if they back into it. Has all the features I need plus more like stormwash which gets tough hard to clean pots and dishes really clean. Cycles to choose from include auto, normal, heavy, delicate, express 60, rinse only, and even a delay start option. You can do a small wash by selecting the lower rack option only or even select hi-temp wash that will raise the temp to improve cleaning on heavily soiled dishes. Also has the sanitize option, which also controls the child lock feature by holding it for 3 seconds. Once the machine is done it has an auto release feature which opens the door to improve drying, and believe me everything comes out dry. This feature is something I do turn off at times being I have two cats that I am sure will try to see what is inside. I am extremely satisfied with how clean all my dishes, pots, utensils, etc. come out of this dishwasher and how quiet it is. Beautifully designed and operates better than any dishwasher I ever owned.

Great Dishwasher

It is not to loud and does a very good job cleaning. using all the options it has to offer, I would recommend this dishwasher. Being able to remove a section in the lower carrier to fit larger items is a great plus. The 3rd level allows for more items to be washed at one time. Our family has 3 teenage boys, so a lot of washing is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has been a godsend, it took less than 30 minutes to be installed. The stainless steel finish looks great, it appears to have a fingerprint resistant finish as well. The buttons on the top of the door work perfectly, I've washed dozens of loads since I received this unit and there have been very few issues (I bet due in large part to my neglecting to properly soak/prewash my dishes with tougher stains). Is nearly impossible to tell that the dishwasher is on, sometimes I have to go back and make sure I actually turned it on, lol. The racks are sturdy, the third rack is a great added feature for cleaning extra utensils. This machine also comes with a stormwash feature for tougher stains, it really lives up to the name. It cleans really well, very satisfied with this dishwasher. It has a sanitize setting, rinse only setting and even a smaller load setting. There is plenty of space for normal sized dishes. This can handle more dishes than my last dishwasher as well, super impressed. Good job Samsung.

Looks Good, Cleans Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been interested in Samsung dishwashers and finally had a chance to get one! Before I ordered the dishwasher, I did some research on it. I really wanted to know the negatives that other customers reported – which were issues with the door popping open and the door not staying down (when opening the dishwasher). Surprisingly, there were not too many negative reviews about how the dishwasher cleaned. So, what did I have before? Something that was aged and sounded like a cross between a sump pump and loading/spin-cycles of laundry washer. I often had to turn up my TV volume, use closed-captions, or wear headphones just to understand what was on my television while the dishwasher was running. Despite that, the old dishwasher did a good job of cleaning the dishes and drying them (somewhat). How does the Samsung Dishwasher compare? Instant improvement to the look of the kitchen. It actually goes well with the other appliances (which are not Samsung). Definitely, a huge difference in the noise. Soooo much better. No TV volume increases, no closed-captions necessary. It turns out that the negatives were very minor for me. Yes, the door does pop up open for additional drying – but it doesn’t really bother me. And the door stays down just fine when I open the dishwasher. The cleaning cycles and additional modes (e.g. Storm Wash, Sanitize) fit my needs. I typically start with the auto cycle, and add on Storm Wash or Hi-Temp Wash when necessary. Overall, it does clean well. However, there are times when you will say “Hmmm!” (in amazement) or “Hmmm…” (puzzled/bafflement) after inspecting a load of washed dishes. For instance, pots used to cook oatmeal and plates with semi-dried syrup from a pancake breakfast were cleaned very well (pretty much spotless). Yet, residue still remained on small plates in the top rack of the same load. The 3rd rack is a good space saver - just don’t count on the dishwasher to clean really dirty utensils up there (to be fair, this is also mentioned in the manual). On average, I’d say that 4-5 items (dishes and/or utensils) had residue after being washed in a load with a fully-loaded bottom rack, fully-loaded top rack, and barely-loaded 3rd rack. In my home, the dishwasher runs daily (sometimes twice daily). Overall, this is a good dishwasher and I’m not missing the old one at all!

Powerful Quiet Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the Samsung StormWash dishwasher! From installation to ease of use, I love this dishwasher! Installation and haul away was timely and efficient. The gentlemen had my old dishwasher out and my new Samsung installed within 35 minutes. He showed me the initial use and was on his way!
The dishwasher has different settings 'Auto' 'Normal' 'Heavy' etc and then you're able to choose different settings 'lower' for just dishes on the lower rack, 'Storm Wash' for those pots and pans with debris (designated in the dishwasher with red rack area), 'hi temp wash', and 'sanitize'. I love that there's so many options!
The dishwasher has 3 separate racks (lower rack, top rack and a utensil rack). There is tons of room and all my odd shape dishes (tupperware, bowls and the likes) all fit! You're even able to adjust the height of the top rack should you need more room on the bottom for larger pots and pans. I LOVE the utensil rack on the top for my tongs, measuring cups, etc.
This dishwasher is the quietest I've ever heard! I barely hear it running which is so nice! The only time I hear it is when it's done and it's little charm music after it's run its 15 minute air dry with the door open. (This is an option that can be shut off)
Dishes come out super clean! I use the recommended rinse aid and detergent and I can see through the glasses when they come out! Such a great change from my last dishwasher!
Overall, I'm super impressed with this dishwasher! It's beautiful and has all the bells and whistles that you could ever want. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

So Many Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher has not worked well for six months. When my spouse told me about the Samsung Dishwasher, I was excited. Once I saw the features, I was sold! I absolutely love the top (third) row. We put all the silverware up there and leave the bottom row for plates and larger pots and pans. This dishwasher has a neat stormwash setting. If I have a really dirty dish, I put it in the orange area of the bottom row of the dishwasher and turn on stormwash. The dirty dishes come out sparkling clean every time! I am confident in putting any pot or pan in the bottom row, no matter how dirty it may be. Also, the dishwasher is extremely quiet. I run it when we go to bed every night and I do not hear anything! At the very end of the drying cycle, the door automatically pops open to let out steam. In the morning, the dishes are sparkling and completely dry, ready to be put away in the cabinet. It truly is the best dishwasher that I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall opinion of this dishwasher is extremely positive. The exterior finish is very easy to clean. An easy wipe down with a microfiber cloth and all spots come off. The handle is nicely incorporated into the unit snd and comfortable to open and close. The interior is very well designed to allow placement of varying items. The too third row drawer is super fir placing large utensils. The settings are so varied that i already have used several for different purposes. It has options for wash strength and time length. Several options offer you the opportunity to even choose a wash for only one drawer! The utensil boxes are all on the side of the drawer and you can either use the slots or open it complete and use the entire section if they do not fit slots. When the load is completed the unit places a melody and opens the door to vent. I found the unit very quiet and cleans dishes snd pots well. I highly recommend this dishwasher.
