Quiet, efficient dishwasher, but...

We have owned this unit for 17 months and have generally been pleased with it, but learned you must be very careful in loading to get everything clean. This sometimes means loading plates in every other slot in the lower rack depending on how much of a curve they have. Cereal bowls don't seem to fit very well in either the top or bottom rack. Load your utensils with the handles up. We only use the slotted cover for knives. We always use the "sanitize" option with both the "smart" cycle and the "heavy" cycle. That way we always have dry dishes when it is finished. We also learned that the rinse-aid dispenser can become clogged, so we dilute the rinse-aid 50% with water and set the dispensing control to maximum. I had to take the door apart to fix the dispenser and was alarmed to discover a lot of condensation on the back side of the door and rusted handle brackets. So I added a layer of foil backed insulation and a vapor barrier to reduce the chance of more condensation forming.
The dishwasher is very quiet and uses very little water. It is also the only unit we found with a five year warranty on the electronics. We also like the depth and flexibility of the upper rack. I'd recommend you take a place setting of your dishes with you to the store to see how they will fit in the closely spaced tines before you by it though.
Pros: quiet, economical, flexible top rack, attractive appearance, 5-yr warranty on controls
Cons: requires very careful loading, rinse-aid dispenser can get clogged

Control Panel defective

Although it is quiet and seems to clean well, the control panel has stopped working properly. After initial start, it shuts down and has to be restarted. Does this every time. Will have to replace the control panel at significant cost.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst dishwasher I've ever owned. Doesn't clean dishes very well and I think that's what the thing was made for.

Looks and runs great.... but is lacking space for dishes inside. Poor design, should've looked inside at the store

In addition to its great looks, this dishwasher is very quiet. Our dishes and glasses come out sparkling clean. We also like the silverware boxes which hold each piece separate and upright

I really like my new dishwasher! This is the first time I have ever used one regularly and it is great! It is quiet when it runs, and my daughter can't touch any buttons because they are hidden just under the lip of the counter, which is awesome!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
