the dishwasher has been working just fine an today i opened it up and the door dropped like a lead brick! i think it must have water in it! boo on the seals!

Poor Quality

i bought an entire kitchen set - stove, dishwasher and refrigerator in 2017.
this week the glass top on the stove cracked while washing it (literally just washing it), and then this dishwasher's door stopped locking. both out of warranty and samsung refuses to provide any support, but they are only 3 years old. very disappointed that these items both broke on the same week, and only lasted 3 years in service, and my only option is to buy a whole new set. they look wonderful, but save your money and buy a better brand. they don't last very long and samsung doesn't stand behind its product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lousy Dishwasher

worst dishwasher i've ever used. broke down multiple times during the 1st year, & was abnormally finicky. dishes, & containers had to be strategically placed, or they would not come out clean. and, forget about putting pots in this thing. also stopped frequently, & lights would flash. then i'd have to figure out what the problem was. i began to just turn it on & off hourly until it ran. because of my experience i did not replace this dishwasher with another samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaks every time

this dishwasher came with our renovated house when we bought it in 2019 and even with light use has begun to leak every time we wash dishes. no one in close proximity to our home repairs samsung because parts are hard to come by, so the cost for someone to come out before the additional parts and labor is cost prohibitive. replacing it with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

we have owned this model for 8 years. it needed a warranty repair the first year which was taken care of. over the years we have replaced the water level sensor once and the ecs sensor twice. overall it has functioned well and still cleans beautifully and has always been whisper quiet. a few other things are startimg to wear out so a new linear wash samsung dishwasher is being delivered this weekend.
we did not hesitate to choose another samsung. all brands have good and bad reviews. the new model looks like weak spots have been improved. just wanted to share our long-term ownership experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i bought this dishwasher 7 years ago and the only positive feature is that it is fairly quiet. it is an energy efficient dishwasher which seems to mean it does not use enough energy to actually clean the dishes. we have to wash every piece of food/residue off prior to putting dishes in the dishwasher or they will not come out clean. the dishes do not stack well in the racks. this is the only dishwasher i have ever had that i cannot figure our a way to stack dishes without them falling over or not getting clean. the dishwasher smells. we have to wash the seals every couple weeks and run a cycle with vinegar at least once a month to keep it from smelling.
