Unfortunately we had to return this item. About a week after purchase we began getting errors on the control panel. Tech came out and said that our drain line was too high and pump could not accommodate. Well, we were not about to spend $250 with a plumber to rearrange a drain line that had never before caused an issue. We returned this unit and bought a different brand and have had no issues now after several months. Whatever the pump issue is, Samsung needs to address it.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE MY DISHWASHER

I love it!!! The stainless steel interior and concealed buttons are my favorite features. I believe that the stainless steel interior helps to not have that mildew like smell that i get with other dishwashers. IT'S SO QUIET.. i have to check to make sure its on.. Thank you Samsung

This is the worst dishwasher ever! It does not clean dishes well nor does it dry dishes well.If a dish has something dried on it, forget it! It won't come out clean. Having to wash dishes first defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher. The design of the bins is horrible as well. Who has all their dishes out and all there glasses out at every meal?? It isn't set up well for pots and pans and cookie sheets. Following the trouble shooting guide isn't helpful. No matter what you do, nothing works. I truly hate this dishwasher, but now I am stuck with it. I just love having spent $$ on product that doesn't work.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, doesn't clean!, doesn't dry!

Love this dishwasher... Got it for a bargain... and it has been an amazing dishwasher.. deff does its job, its quiet, cleans every dish and compliments my other appliances very well.. Very glad i purchased this dishwasher.

Worst dishwasher ever

I have Samsung Tv's, so I figured why not give their Dishwashers a try. This dishwasher has been the worst one I have ever purchased. I have not been too impressed with the functionality of the Dishwasher from day 1. Our dishes would have food particles on them after it completed its cycle. I would routinely have to either:
a. Rewash manually
b. or send through another cycle.
Note: I rinse all of our dishes before putting them in there. They are not spotless, but have been pre-rinsed. This has been a problem plagued with this dishwasher from day 1.
After 10 months it stopped running all together. I received 2 blinking lights (SmartAuto and Normal) which mean a High temperature Heating error. I also have a rust spot on the left inside panel of the Dishwasher. I had a Dishwasher technician out and they need to replace the heat sensor. I was still within my 1 year warranty, so I wasn’t too upset about it. They were going to take a picture of the rust and send in the claim once the labor was complete. After a few weeks I called the company I bought this from and they said they submitted the claim to Samsung and the warranty part has to come from the Factory in Japan. This has taken 2 months and my 1 year warranty expired on April 7th. They still do not have the part from the factory, so I called to tell them to just order the part from somewhere else (part should be here in 2 days).
Overall here is an overview of my problems with this model:
1. Dishes need to be routinely rewashed.
2. The sanitary option does not dry effectively. Dishes are still wet and need to be hand dried.
3. Rust has developed on the inside.
4. Dishwasher completely stopped working after 10 months. Well I guess it hasn’t been 100% working from day one based on my other issues I have with this model.
5. Submitting a claim for a part should not take 2+ months to get.
6. If I wanted to wash my dishes by hand I wouldn’t have bought a Dishwasher.
