We have hard tap water that tastes awful. However with the filtered water from the refrigerator, water tastes great! The whole family loves it! We had this refrigerator for a few years now. I am scheduled for automatic replacement, so the filter comes every few months before the replacement light comes on, and I don't have to worry about it.

I have an LG frig and use the filter to improve our water - drink LOTS. I had gotten a "replacement" filter since the LG filters are not cheap. But cheap is the optimal word. The replacements I tried are cheap not inexpensive. I have started a replacement plan - sent every 6 months.

This is the second of these replacement I buy… the water is always foggy when I install it. I drain some to feel better, it taste okay and it’s pretty easy to install however this time around my fridge is still reading it needs a replacement even after replacing it so not sure what’s up with that. I do feel it’s over priced

I received emails and mailings warning me that I should replace the water filter in my LG refrigerator. I bought the filter. Filter looks fine except my model doesn't use a water filter LG decides to make it difficult for me to send back.
