Removes chlorine taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these filters since purchasing my LG refrigerator. Our city water always has a strong taste and smell of chlorine but this filter removes the chlorine taste and smell giving us a great tasting water. My husband used to not drink "straight" water but now he fills his glass directly from the refrigerator water dispenser.

I have not had ice or waterfor months. you have a one year warranty on a product that is well over a thousand dollars. the refrigerator is less than 2 years old. I will never buy another LG refrigerator.

The filters are fine and the water tastes good. The problem we had though, is with the refrigerator. New refrigerator not three years old and the compressor went. Lost almost $1000 worth of food and no compensation for the this loss.

The filter was simple and straightforward to install. After we ran through the 2 gallon cleaning cycle, we poured out water to drink and it tasted great. The filter was almost too simple to install -- take off the cap, insert it into the outlet in the fridge and twist in. The lock is not a tight fit, so don't expect it to be! We are pleased with the filter and water quality.
