Truly outstanding value for money

My daughter needed a laptop for school. I found the HP Stream online - a full blown Windows laptop much cheaper than many tablets.
It is a very attractive and well made unit, and is extremely light and portable. The screen is clear and easy to read.
Performance wise, you are obviously not going to be playing Call of Duty on it! But for the email, presentations and homework assignments that my daughter needs it for, it is more than adequate.
All in all, it does everything she needs, has been completely reliable, and represents absolutely excellent value for money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good laptop for the price

So far the laptop has been running fine for light daily use, browsing etc. Do not like the color blue, dark grey would've been my preference. Also do not like Windows 8.

Great product for basic use

I was nervous about using the new windows platform but so far it has been very user friendly. It comes with microsoft office free for the 1st year and couldn't be the price on the actually hardware. Great product for normal everyday use. Thinking about buying two more for each of my stepdaughters!

I love this laptop because its slim but not too small. It is pretty fast. It's starts up in less than a minute every time. The features are great. I have never worked with Windows 8 before, and it took some getting use to, but I like it a lot. The only thing that I wish I could change is the memory. The memory is pretty low, but you can use an external hard drive and USB thumb drives. The price was great and I'd buy another one for sure!

Great for the price with a few drawbacks

I love this device, I kind of don't need my other high performance laptop on me all the time anymore. This is great because I travel a lot, it's easy to carry and great for giving presentations.
The only main problem is that the wireless connection is worse than any computer I have ever had !. It freezes sometimes when I have a few tabs open in chrome and it cannot run photoshop ( which was a surprise to me since I had other netbooks that ran photoshop just fine).
In general great for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!
