I used to do my floors on my hands and knees. When I became ill we hired professionals to do them but no one met my standards for floor cleanliness. I have a large dog, one cat and have a lot of traffic in my large home. There is tile, wood and a cement type floor that they clean. I recently got the Brava and now I am completely satisfied! I have the original Roomba (Flo) and now they work together to make sure my house is always clean enough to wear white socks!

What a 'Treat'....

I can't believe I love this little mopping robot, as much as I do. I kept thinking there is nothing that can clean a floor better than Scooba. But Braava really does clean rather well. I also like the fact that there are no parts to replace. The gps works beautifully and my floors dry almost immediately. If my floor is extra dirty, then I run Braava twice. No hardship there. Braava cleans up to our thresholds that divide the rooms, and does not go over them, which eliminates the need to set up Lighthouses. It's not a problem for me to vacuum before using Braava, because I vacuumed before using Scooba, as well. Braava is half the price of Scooba and is ever so quiet. What a 'Treat' for us, who hate washing floors.

Easily the worst purchase I've ever made

This is the second iRobot product I purchased. Having been extremely satisfied by my Roomba I decided to give Braava a go, hoping it would feature the same quality as its cousin - hoo boy, was I wrong. I honestly think my eight-year-old is a better coder than whoever designed the movement algorithms on this thing. I have seen it just give up and declare itself lost IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EMPTY ROOM. It routinely gets stuck under things like couches, refrigerators - and I don't actually mean "stuck", mind you, I mean it cannot move forward or laterally and is TOO STUPID TO TRY STRAIGHT BACK. I wish I could "set it and forget it" every evening like my reliable Roomba, but this thing requires constant supervision wherein 99 times out of 100 I just turn it off out of impotent frustration and just mop myself. I'm not sure what type of home this sad toy is designed for, but whoever they are I'm sure they live a pretty minimalist existence in a large empty space with lots of time to mop, because Braava fails utterly at literally everything else.
Cons: Cannot find its way out of an empty room(really), Clogs Easily, Gets lost easily within seconds, Misses Spots

I own a very large home-based business and my worst habit is never getting to the floors! I was so fed up with not getting to all I have to do each day that I bought the Braava 380t. I LOVE MY BRAAVA! It handles the work for me and I can walk from my office barefooted onto the floor after it's finished and the floor is CLEAN. I really tested this units capabilities by reading all its instructions after opening the box and because I had not swept the floors yet, I wanted to see just what the Braava 380t would do. I was amazed with all the unit picked up using a dry cloth sweep. I actually had to stop the unit to clear away dog hair some from the unit and then let it start again. It picked up right where it left off. After this was finished, I went right into the floor washing mode. I was impressed with how quiet the unit is and I walked back down to my office to work and knew when it was finished because "it tells you" with its tones. This is my second iRobot product and I will be purchasing the new Roomba 980 soon. I've owned my first Roomba for 5 years now and I'm just replacing the battery pack this week. She's still going strong! Thank you for helping a very busy CEO keep her floors clean and neat.

If you have extra money then give them a try, but do not expect much run time. I have ordered replacement lithium batteries to replace NiHi batteries. Will let you know how they work.
Cons: Clogs Easily, Dies quickly. Have ordered lithium replacements, Difficult To Clean, Long Charge Time, Noisy

Makes my life better!!

I have gone through so many times of severe pain and low motivation. I got the Braava shortly after I got the Roomba 980. I can't tell you what a blessing and whopping miracle the Braava has been to me. My husband feeds hummingbirds daily dripping sugary liquid on the hard floors 30-40 feet from kitchen to outside. Braava cleans up these sticky spots so well! The dusting feature is great, and I often dust first and mop second. I love clean floors, but with severe back pain and bad knees, I cannot clean the way I used to. Braava lets me spend what energy I have on other things. I love it and wouldn't give it up. I love the reusable, washable dust and scrub cloths. It has been just one year since Myrtle came into my life. I love her! The only issue I have had is that her battery does not hold a charge as long as she used to. But for what she has done for a year, has been worth every penny. I often use her once a day.

Two Corgi puppies, one Pembroke, one Cardigan, continuous action. Braava cleans up behind them extremely well. The puppies go to work with us, so 'My Assistant' cleans while we're gone. Combined with Roomba in the Family room, we come home to a clean floor every day!
