It works!! Great for physically challenged people

I have some health issues that keep me from being able to do what I used to. I really like being able to just turn this little worker loose in my kitchen without having to ask someone or hire a maid. It doesn't do any major spots but when I use it on a regular basis it gets my floor really clean! I set it down before I go to bed knowing that it's getting the little bits from my day cleaned up. I've been impressed at how well my little robot cleans my floors. I use just the regular disposable wet cloths and they seem to work just fine at both sweeping up the bits and mopping at the same time. My only complaint is that on just one border with the carpet, it seems to not recognize it and will get stuck trying to go over the carpeted area. I have solved this by placing a barrier up when I use it.

Cons: Gets stuck at carpet edge

Do not buy this robot mop

I bought this product 5/6/16. It has been malfunctioning (mops a little and then dies) over the course of the past month. Today it was ascertained officially dead, I did everything I was asked by iRobot technical support to troubleshoot my Braava, so after all that was done with they had me call them. $50 is what they are going to charge me to replace the battery, which is the ending to the story of my Braava Mop. I asked how long the battery was supposed to last, and the woman I spoke to at iRobot told me much longer, but sometimes with frequent use the battery dies sooner. All I know is every time I have used it (maybe 1-2 times a week) it has gone right back on the charger until the next use. My home is maybe 500 square feet of mopping space (I never used it to "sweep", I have a Neato vacuum that works wonders before I use the Braava), at no point has it been "abused", and I keep it on its cradle in a room with no traffic between uses. I'm not even 100% sure it's the battery, what happens if it does the same thing upon battery replacement for $50? I'm thinking that's the part where I call and iRobot support tells me I have to buy some other part. Do not buy this unless you plan to put an additional $50+ into it on a yearly basis. There is a reason why the warranty is only a year: It doesn't hold up much longer than that timespan and then iRobot can cash in some more on their rubbish products. I'm really bummed, I loved it while it worked properly. I wrote a stellar review back when it worked well that I have flagged for them to take down.
Cons: battery dead after 1 year of use-$50 to replace

I would not recommend this Brava mop. I have tile floors and vinyl floors. I also have two Brava mops. I have to stand over the Brava mops and keep pushing the sweep or the wet button for either of them to work. I highly recommend the Roomba! I have two Roombas! Love Roomba! Hate the lazy Brava mops!

Highly recommended for homes with hardwood flooring

I am a long time iRobot customer. I bought a roomba a LONG time ago. I also purchased a Scooba (which I was greatly disappointed in.) Both of these robots were what I considered something that the Jetsons might have. The Braava 300 was a great improvement to these robots. It is extremely quite and in sweep mode seems to go on forever! I work from home, so having a quite device is important. When it is in mop mode, it reminds me of ocean waves, as it cleans (a gentle swish back and forth). It cleans well, even when outside of the range of the navigation cube. Only wish it had a drop in battery (so I could have one charged at all times.) This isn't something that any of the other robots have, so well.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use, Hassle Free Operation, Long Run Time, Very QUIET
Cons: Long Charge Time, Not Self Docking

i love this braava. i hate mopping/cleaning hardwood floors. this does it for me and is easy to operate. just set on floor and walk away...braava will mop for you. saw some comments about it stopping after mopping for half the time allotted (approx 2-1/2 hrs charge). this also happened to me. however, discovered that if your area is small (mine is approx 200 sf), the GPS measures your area and when braava has cleaned the area measured by GPS, it stops because it is done. so....there's nothing wrong with your braava. i use it about 2 x per week. my floor is now forever clean. love, love it. also, the service department is very helpful, efficient and friendly. (thank you Ariel) this is by far, one of the most wonderful machines i've bought. thinking now of getting the carpet sweeper one....i think i'm spoiling myself.
