Wrongly redesigned

I purchased Braava 380T from irobot. This look like Mint, which I owned before. Mint work very well until rubber on it's wheels got loose. I had it close to 3 years without complaints. irobot probably purchased Mint and redesigned it to make their Braava 380T mopping robot. However, instead of improving it - they made it completely unusable! Robot is heavy on back side, opposite of mop location. Mop is 'lifted up' under weight of the robot battery or internals. Microfiber mop not only doesn't collect the water, but is not accepting water at all. I kept microfiber under running water for a while and then squeezed it in my hand - not wringed.... 'microfiber' mop was completely dry... How it can be used for mopping the floor?? Before braava 380T can function properly, it needs to be completely redesigned. It should be heavier on the end where is a mop, not opposite as it is now. I'm upset that mint is not produced anymore and replacement of it 'braava 380T' is completely useless. It never even make the floor dump, not mention the cleaning. This was one BAD decision from irobot! If something works - do not try to improve it!!! You should just leave the mint as it was!!! I returned Braava 380T after about a week of attempts to wash my floor in kitchen.

My guy "Eddie" is the perfect mate for my Roomba sweeper

I admit I am smitten with my Roomba 780 (Ruby) sweeper after almost 3 years. When Eddie arrived he looked a bit puny and certainly did not make a good impression with his little water tank, and especially his slow speed. But, you know, he has won me over. He is quiet, generally gets the dust Ruby leaves behind, removes that drip of coffee I did this morning, and returns to his starting location, eventually he gets everywhere his little frame can go. I'm worried about having wheel problems and battery problems, but after a month or so; everything is fine. If Eddie is half as good as Ruby after a year or so, I will be happy. So far, he's my bud!! I realize that it is not practical to have him climb wet onto a charging station the way Ruby does; but it sure would be nice if he was a little less needy (fill the tank, set the cube, moisten the pad, remove pad and clean, put on charger, etc). As I said, I'm smitten with the Roomba sweeper and may be a bit critical of Eddie. Oh, start with clean, clean, clean floors and let this little guy keep them that way everyday.

Works great. Run it almost every day. Start the sweep option on the way to work. Start the mopping before bed time. Wish it could dock to its own charger when finished.

This robot is very quiet! I usually set it to work as I go to bed at night and it never wakes us up. It cleans our hardwood floors and tile well. Since i use it several times per week, I feel like it cleans thoroughly. I would recommend it to others.

I bought my wife a Roomba 870 the wife named him Antonio. It did such an awesome job I got her a Braava380t. I got a discount when I bought it but think it is well worth full price! The wife and I are both disabled and we just could not keep up with our floors! Enter Miguel. We charged him up, gave him a pad and set up the cube. He went to work! I watched him and he didn't miss anything. My wife can now maintain our laminate floors with ease. It gives her a feeling of accomplishment and when the kids came over and said they were impressed with how good our floors looked she just beamed! You gotta have this if you have hardwood or laminate floors. Combine it with a Roomba and your floor cleaning work will be reduced by 90% or more and your floors will constantly look like you just cleaned them! We have 3 dogs. So there is hair to deal with. The Roomba gets the hair and the Braava380t gets the paw prints. I cannot tell you how happy we are with these robots! Thank god for technology. I was about to hire a maid and I tell you these two robots pay for themselves in short order! I bought a 3 year warranty on our Braava380t. If it lasts those 3 years it will have saved us much more money than the cost of the unit! And it is almost totally silent! If you have a home with laminate or hard wood floors GET ONE! You will not be sorry. It senses its way around and gets virtually every inch of floor and cleans it well. We watch him till he stops leaving damp and change his pad. It is usually black with dirt and the floor he has done looks great! I don't know how Irobot did it in such a compact package but this thing is the cats whiskers! Irobot, you hit TWO home runs! I can't say enough about these products! Recommend to a friend? I recommend them to everyone! Even my doctor! Anyone who says they have floors I tell them about Miguel and Antonio.

Most frustrating purchase of my life. Hours and hours wasted trying to get it to work to no avail. Turns off after 5 seconds repeatedly. Tried everything in multiple trouble shooting videos. This thing Sucks!
Cons: Stopped working after 2 months. 5-10 cleans.
