I'd rather clean a toilet than sweep and mop a floor! My floors just gather dust and dog hair until I can't stand it anymore then I hunker down and clean. My boyfriend has use Roomba forever and I decided to try the Braava 380t. AMAZING!!! I run "Moppy" almost every day to sweep my place and she does a super job. Even the corners are better than I expected. She is methodical about covering the whole room and returns to the exact place I started her. She's so quiet that I can watch a movie in the same room. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Just fabulous. Mops as well as I can and I have been surprised at how effective it is. I thought it would be more of a maintenance tool that would only deal with light dirt but actually it can handle almost anything. It is virtually silent so unlike my roomba I can be in the room while it works.

I always get nervous the moment I write a review I will experience issues with a product, but from what I understand about iRobot they are wonderful customer service-wise, so I will abandon that concern for now. I love my Braava, which I have owned since early May! I have a robot vacuum I use before I use my Braava, so I only use it to wet mop with the reusable blue mopping pads (I bought a pack of 3, and it comes with 1). It works wonderfully. I am an OCD neat freak, so there is never crazy nastiness on my floors, but I am a pet owner and between the 2 of us we track in dirt (and one of us does like to secretly drool her treats randomly in places), not to mention the amount of dust that settles on the floors normally. After a run of the Braava it feels so good to walk around the house. I use it on a very regular basis, at least 2-3 times a week. You do have to pick it up if you have a door jam (it will not lift itself over) but it doesn't bother me because I usually change the pads a couple times with each use, and check the reservoir to make sure it has enough water. It does my 700 feet of mopping without running out of battery. Like with regular mopping, you need to pick up any loose dirt/pet hair/questionable globs of whatever before using it, or else it is just spreading it along the floor as it goes. I seriously could not be happier, I love it and more than anything I love not having to mop (it is a chore, like vacuuming, I always dreaded).

Beware that tire treads fall off from mopping

This is my 2nd Braava and each of them have been rendered useless, because each time a tire tread fell off during mopping. If a tire tread becomes too wet from a lengthy time mopping, then it will fall off. When I put it back on the wheel, the tread was too loose and had been stretched out. Otherwise, I liked the Braava and thought it performed well with sweeping and mopping, but I will not be buying a 3rd one.

I have the Irobot 980 as well and between the tow of these robots i don't vacuum or mop love them both . The customer service is great if you ever need them.

We use it at least once each week in our kitchen/family room. It cleans very well. The included mopping pad seems to work well, but it takes some effort to clean after each use.

More Mopper than Sweeper

I was disppointed in the first function as a sweeper. I did not come away impressed that pushing the dust mop across the entire floor would actually pickup the dirt. IT was too time consuming to do what a wide dust mop would do in 10% of the time. The mopping has been a pleasent surprise. I like the 3 mop heads that allow me to slip off the dirty, top off the mop solution of small amount of vinegar with warm water and turn it loose again. I was impressed with the unit's abilty to keep track of where it had been and the battery life of 3 mopping sessions before battery recharge. This allow our family to mop more with cleaner floors, hassle free.
