Fit and finish is great, works just as well!

Fit and matched up to my counter tops like a glove. Easy install, you do need to get a cord to hook up. Like the sleek looks and goes well with matching Microwave 1.9 cu ft. Like the slate color, only con now the wife wants new countertops to match...

Works great! First glass top I've owned. I was apprehensive on the care and scratching but I have had no problems with the unit (I have been following the instructions on not dragging pots and pans and cleaning often). Seems like the key is to clean after every use by wiping down so any splashed and residue gets cleaned off before it burns onto the cooktop. Cleaning is easy; just wipe down with vinegar and use the cleaning cream for tough residue or every third or fourth use. This heats faster than my old coil range and the oven seems to bake evenly (no need to rotate cookie sheet half-way through cooking).

difficult to keep clean

I needed a new stove - thought this was the one. I do not like the cooktop - it is hard to keep clean and scratches very quickly.

Seems to work just fine

This is the second unit. The first one was defective as the over wouldn't heat properly and the eyes did not get hot enough to boil water. On this replacement unit, the eyes glow red as soon as the dial is turned. Wow, what a difference.
