I've had this range for a couple of months now. It's really a very nice look to my remodeled kitchen and the stove features all work well. I love the fact that the knobs are real metal and not plastic .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Nice Range

So far I have enjoyed the GE Range. I love the large surface and even though it is one of the smaller ovens on market, I really see no difference in anything I have cooked. I like that it is a slide in. Makes for a clean look. My only reason for not giving a 5 Star rating is that face that if you are not careful you can actually turn the stove on when leaning over the surface. I like that the dials to turn on are in front so you do not have to reach across a hot surface to adjust, however you can bump the dials and turn on stove or even adjust heat without knowing. I also wish there was at least one finished side with stove. I know it is a slide in, but I have seen other slides ins that have 1 finished side.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have not used my new range as much as I'd like- yet!- but so far, so good! It is sharp looking, easy installation, lots of nice features. I think I got a good deal on this slate range :)

Fan runs too long after stove is turned off.

Not for Canning!!

It is impossible to avoid spillovers during steam canning. If there is a spill during processing, you cannot pause the processing to clean it up. By the time the processing is done, the spill has been cooked into the cooktop and it is impossible to clean. For me this is a significant negative issue. If I had known this I would have chosen another product.
