Looks nice but has permanent spots after two uses

This range was installed four days ago and I used it for the second time tonight. I was boiling water on the left side and the right side burner was turned on but there was not a pot on burner. The boiling water splattered onto the right side burner and left these marks that cannot be removed. I know it wasn't the pots because I purchased new stainless steel cookware and it was my first time using these pots. I didn't expect this after only my second use. I expected better quality from GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too many areas that are hard to clean. Do not like the control panel. I do believe a noncook designed this product with no input from some one whom cooks

Be advised not to put food in oven until to cooking temp or you may get burnt top

I BOUGHT THIS A DAY AGO AND I AM ALREADY IN LOVE WITH IT. IT MAKES MY KITCHEN LOOK SUPER LUXURIOUS AND IT ALSO MAKES ME WANT TO COOK EVERY TIME I SEE IT!! The stove met our expectations except one and it is rather annoying. Trying to keep the surface of the stove where the burners are positioned is a nightmare. The surface area is constantly streaky and ugly. I hope that can be improved in future models.

Works well as replacement range

I was forced into getting a new slide in range after the electronic panel failed and no replacement parts were available. The rest of the range worked well after 14 years, but due to accelerated parts obsolescence, I was forced to get a new one 2 years ago. The new range works well and actually preheats faster since there is no hidden element at the bottom. I deducted one star due to replacements parts not being available.
I would recommend this to a friend!
