LOVE IT!

We replaced an old slide in range, it fit perfectly with no changes. My wife loves it and matches all our SS appliances. The best thing it works and looks great not like our old one. well worth the upgrade!

Seems fancy but problems already

I bought this range for our lake house, where I was building my dream kitchen. I got all new, high end appliances. I've had problems with this range from the first time I used it. The cooktop is very very hard to clean, even minor spills. And I am used to electric cooktops as I already have one that is much older but wipes off much better. Another problem is that the burners heat unevenly. And finally, I have used the oven about 10 times and each time the temperature on regular bake is cooler than the temperature I've put in. I tested it yesterday with an oven thermometer and it's 10 degrees cooler.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Notice that this model is no longer available. Hoping that there is a planned recall since this model performs very poorly. Something is very wrong with the oven temperature control. Bakes very poorly. We either got a lemon or the positive reviews are paid reviews.

Front stainless around knobs scratches too easily

I see this model is no longer made. Is it because the front stainless panel around the knobs scratches so easily? Not covered under warranty. How nice to have a scratched oven.

The Wiring in the oven fought on fire

Horrible product ! Cant think about buying a GE again ! Will look at other companies! If I wasn’t standing next to my oven when this happen I would have had my whole kitchen catch on fire! I keep my oven spotless and this was a manufactured defect that I had to come out of pocket for ! Beware !!!!

I have always owned GE ovens so I was happy to upgrade to convection and more burners and better sizes. Smooth top heats quickly as well as the oven.

Beautiful and love the cook space!

Just bought this stove and already love it! We have a GE convection microwave we use constantly and felt this was a great way to go - and we are happy we did. One thing to remember is that if you are going from a free-standing stove with the control panel on the back, you will have a large gap between the back edge of the stove top and your wall. We ordered the backguard kit from GE, which was a little pricey, but it's worth it - and they shipped it right out! You'll wait a while if you order through the home improvement stores.
The only thing I don't like about the stove top is the hard molded plastic around the control panel/knobs. It already looks like a car's plastic siding that's been through too many car washes or sat in the sun. It's whitish-looking right out of the box, which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars - just an appearance thing, but still... Otherwise, LOVE the stove!

Quick and easy range

Easy to use and quick. Love the 3 burner option and warmer. Disappointed in timer - sets only in minutes and does not show seconds until last minute. Front display on 45 deg angle instead of 90 deg and catches all the splatters from the front burners.
