The range is more than I expected

It is beautiful and looks great in our island. It cooks faster than my other range. I had never owned a range with a glass top, but I love it. Cleans up easily and looks great. I love the fact that the lower elements in the oven are not exposed. FYI...the fan that cools the oven, when you have turned the oven off, will turn off in about 10-15 mins. if you leave the oven door opened a few inches.

Ready for an appliance - GE the best!

We did a lot of research before we made our purchases and GE appliances were at the top of the list. We understand these products are MADE IN AMERICA and that is very important to us at our age (over 65). We want to be able to repair them if necessary but hopefully we can look forward to many years of service from these two new appliances. We also have a GE dishwasher and we have been so pleased. "Thank you, GE".

Great Range!

This is our first ceramic/glass cooktop and so far we love it. There is definitely a learning curve cooking on each burner, as the heat settings vary considerably between burners. We also changed to stainless steel cookware which is most recommended for this flat surface. Clean up with Cerama Brite is very easy. We did considerable research before buying. Water bath canning is generally not recommended on these cooktops. We located an electric tabletop canner (to circumvent this limitation) for our yearly canning needs. Oven heats food evenly and has convection options for baking multiple trays at once, a feature I hope to become a time and energy saver.

Love melt feature

My range was installed about 3 months ago. I truly enjoy the flat stove top. I use the melt feature when I want to melt coconut oil. So easy. Cleaning is easy. I am careful of what pots and pans I use on it. Baking is easy but I use the radiant heat because I haven't figured out how to use the convection oven. It is only 3 months old so I don't expect any problems with it yet.

still learning how to use it, burner temps seem to heat warmer than my old stove. haven't tried all of the features.
