Bells and whistles are always nice but the motion and motivation are the basics of the driving force for this unit. It works for the patient and by that, it makes both of us happy

This is a great home care tool for every patient of every age and every oral status. Just switching patients to Oral-B power toothbrushes greatly enhances their home care and follow up results in my chair. I recommend Oral-B power toothbrushes to every patient!

Good for newbies.

I felt this toothbrush was very good for a new to electric toothbrush user. It left my mouth feeling clean, but wasn't intimidating like others. It was fairly priced and I found inexpensive replacement heads everywhere. The colored bands helped when determining whose was whose. NO BATTERIES NEEDED! Just plug it in and it's ready to go!

I have found the Oral-B ProfessionalCare 1000 Electric Toothbrush to be a natural recommendation for all of my patients that have come to rely on the good name and exceptional quality of Oral-B manual toothbrushes. The materials and styling feel comfortable in the hand, the unique circular brush head provides a thorough cleansing action with more than adequate access to every portion of the mouth, and it is a wonderful adjunct for special niche patients , including teens, the elderly, and the non-motivated. Overall, the Oral-B ProCare 1000 is one of the best oral care values on the market.

better than a manual brush

this tooth brush is much better than a manual brush, however i like the elongated brush head better than the cup style brush head.

first electric toothbrush

This was my first electric toothbrush and being a dental assistant I was used to the old school way of brushing. I was so pleasantly surprised with how cleaning my teeth felt when I was done that I now have a hard time going back to manually brushing. Although my palate still isn't used to the tickle feeling but I love the auto brush. Looking forward to upgrading. Thank you Oral B
