Perfect for my needs

Bought this as a replacement for my Sonicare toothbrush. My dentist recommended this and they were right. It cleans much better than the old brush and replacement brush heads are much easier to find. I love the pressure sensitive mode, something the old brush didn't have. I definitely recommend this toothbrush.

2 minute Timer? Where?

The advertising and package of this product both indicate it has a 2 minute timer. It does not. If this is important to you don't buy this model of the Oral B.

The Pro 1000 has a built-in timer that pulses every 30 seconds. This is the 2-minute timer that is advertised. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.

Quality, quality, quality

I did not hestitate to buy this Braun Oral-B Pro 1000 as a replacement for a Braun Oral-B Professional Care 7000 that I bought 13 years ago. I may not get 13 years out of this one, but I expect I'll get a satisfactory amount of service from a product known for quality.

I would never switch back to a manual brush

My dental hygienist recommended an electric toothbrush and I have loved using it. It has helped my gums and teeth, with wear issues that manual bushes can make. I do a much better job with the electric brush!

I previously had a SoniCare toothbrush, which I liked just fine. But after getting the Oral B, I am much happier. It seems to do a much better job of cleaning.

Great cleaning, Needs Charging too often.

I would ONLY recommend this product because of the great cleaning job that it does WHEN it doesn't NEED A CHARGE. AND then when it needs a charge, you have to wait 10 hours? So, you don't brush your teen when it needs charging? I've had to purchase two Oral-Bs so I always have one charged. I also does NOT Hold a CHARGE for ONE WEEK! I would say change the type of battery so it would last longer and charge faster but ONLY IF they don't raise the price of the brush. They are over priced as they are.

We can understand your frustration. The Pro 1000 is designed to take up to 22 hours to fully charge, and last up to 7 days on one charge, based on a brushing schedule of 2 minutes twice a day. Cleans better than any toothbrush

I love the way my teeth feel after using the Pro 1000. Much cleaner than using a regular toothbrush. My only complaint is that I never received the coupons for brush head as it stated.

Charging light died after 2 weeks

I like the toothbrush but I went to charge it today and the light on the front is out. Don’t know if it is charging it or not. I tested all the outlets in my apartment that I use for other things to make sure it wasn’t the outlet. The light just won’t turn on. Not sure if it’s gojng to charge anymore. Pretty shocked that it only took two weeks. Not really worth the money

Certainly we can understand how disapponting this must have been. This could indicate that the battery was depleted. Allow it to charge longer, it can take several minutes for the light to come on. Please give us a call at (800) 566-7252 when you have a moment to chat.
