Terrible Toothbrush

I bought this product a week ago and it was a HUGE mistake. The head is very hard and there is virtually no pressure sensitivity. Terrible toothbrush for sensitive gums. While the brush pulses every 30 seconds, it does not turn off after 2 minutes, requiring you to pay close attention to the amount of time that you have been brushing. I have been using a Quip for the last 2 years and thought this brush would be an upgrade. Needless to say, I will be returning it. Save yourself the hassle and buy something else.

Pro 1000 is very noisy. Every time I use the electric toothbrush feels like I have a tractor brushing my teeth.

Times when the sound of a tractor is a great thing: tilling, planting, harvesting. Times when the sound of a tractor is not so good: when brushing your teeth! We're sorry you had this experience. Please know that we have many quality checks in place to make sure that your toothbrush is in great condition when it leaves the plant. We're sorry if this instance didn't measure up to our standards. Give us a call at (800) 566-7252, so we can help you further.
I bought this tooth brush worked great for a month. Now I have brown stuff on the head little hole at the top has black stuff. Clean once a week and charge each night on stand. Even replaced head already once.

Being able to confidently and comfortably use your Oral-B Pro 1000 CrossAction Toothbrush is of the utmost importance to us. We're sorry to hear about this, but luckily this is preventable. You see, organic material is necessary for mold growth, but our toothbrush is not made of organic material However, if it's stored in a location that's exposed to mold and bacteria, or if it comes into contact with cleaning agents, sprays, soaps, cosmetics, etc, it could make the plastic porous allowing the dirt and moisture places to settle. We recommend you continue cleaning your brush after use, and if you're not already, be sure to dry it too. We'd love to hear from you about this and help, so when you're free, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
This is the worst electric toothbrush. It sounds like a boat motor when using it and then it sputters occasionally. Do not waste your money. You’re better off using a manual brush.

A healthy smile is so important to us. However, so too is an exceptional brushing experience. We're sorry that your Oral-B Pro 1000 is sputtering and being loud, but be assured this isn't normal. It's possible that the brush head may be worn down, not placed on the handle right, or hardened toothpaste could be the cause. We recommend rinsing your toothbrush with warm water and using another brush head as this may help. We'd love to hear from you about this, so please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
This is my first electric toothbrush and I don’t know how I ever went without one. Cleans so we’ll and gets rid of stains I used to build up. Had a great dental check up last week, where they barely needed to clean my teeth.
One downfall is that the bottom of the toothbrush builds up leftover water and toothpaste leaving a ring on my counter, this happens no matter how much I clean and dry it after brushing.
I bought 3 of these, 2 black and 1 white. Upon opening all 3 boxes the toothbrushes all had some kind of substance on them. The first one had gunk on it like it had already been used. The second one had dirt and debris on it. And the third one had a literal finger print on it!! The toothbrushes aren't sealed in plastic inside the box, they are just pressed into the cardboard mold. Definitely a quality control issue at the factory! I returned all 3 and have decided to go with a completely different brand of toothbrush.

We are very sorry this happened to you. This is not something we'd expect to hear about our electric toothbrushes. Please know that we have many quality processes in place to ensure that your brush is in the best possible shape it can be in when it leaves the plant. We're sorry this instance doesn't measure up to our standards. We'd like to get some information from you to look into this further. Please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
I have had this toothbrush for an entire year and have finally switched to a Phillips toothbrush. On the front and back of the neck of this oral b toothbrush, there are holes. When brushing my teeth, toothpaste/water sprays out of there and would either get on me, the mirror, or the counter. Good battery life, good shape, and I liked the toothbrush a lot except for this one feature that ruined it for me. I also used multiple replacement heads throughout the year and had the same problem. My new Phillips toothbrush does not have this problem.

We'll be sure to share your feedback with our Development Team. We'd also like to let you know that the hole in the brush head is there by design. This lets excess water flow out of the brush if it gets inside (as well as toothpaste) so that it doesn't build up on the inside causing issues with the brush. However, since this wasn't what you expected please give us a call at (800) 566-7252. We'll be happy to see about making this up to you.
This product is good as the battery last. Once the battery life is over trying to replace the battery will break the electronic part in it. I don’t recommend this product.
