Battery Won't Stay Charged - Don't Buy!

I purchased this for my son in December 2020 and it only stays charged for 3-4 days before it completely dies. There is no way to change out the battery without destroying the toothbrush.
Meanwhile, I have had my Phillips Sonicare for almost 5 years and I can go 4-5 WEEKS before I have to recharge it.
Guess what my son will be getting for Christmas this year...
Cons: Quality, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You should expect up to 7 days of use on one charge if charged completely. Our Quality Assurance Team takes many steps to ensure that your sons toothbrush will be up to their cleaning needs. When you have time, we'd love to help you with this. Just call at (800) 566-7252 so we can.
This worked for about 2 months. Green light flashes then stops but won't start even after 1 full day charging

You should expect to get years of use from your rechargeable toothbrush. Our Quality Assurance Team takes many steps to ensure that for you. We'd love to help get you back to brushing so please call us at (800) 566-7252 when you have time.
This is a no-frills electric tooth brush. The problematic battery charger is a real thing. Mine never charges to the point where the green light stops blinking, whether it's 24 or 48 hours. But I've rarely encountered a red light signifying no juice. I don't know which brush to use so I've been alternating crosscut and gum sensitive. It's not clear to me what makes the brushes different. They all are too expensive. The toothbrush seems to be effective at cleaning my teeth, and the price is comparatively low. The timer "shudder" goes on way past 30 seconds, more like a minute.
I was happy until I had to replace the battery. The YouTube videos showed people using "tools" to replace them. I had to destroy the bottom peice! Even the I'm not strong enough to remove that peice. It's like the manufacturers don't want you to replace the batteries, but buy A new toothbrush. Which is what I have to do(sad emoji). I won't buy another like this one though. Unfortunately, I have to search and spend more money (red mad face emoji)

We’re glad to hear you were happy with your Oral-B Pro 1000, and we’d like to help you get back to that. Please know all of our rechargeable electric toothbrushes come with a two-year warranty, but attempting to change the battery voids it. The reason we do not make our rechargeable electric toothbrushes with a replaceable battery is that the battery should not need to be replaced, and all of the electricals are sealed within the handle to be water-tight. We’d like to learn more about what happened so we can help further, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
It does a great job, but it drips the entire time I use it. I have toothpaste on my chin, toothpaste on my clothes and toothpaste on my counter. The only way I can resolve the problem is to hold the handle up by my forehead or hold the handle with a washcloth, both very impractical! I'd like to keep this brush. Am I missing an obvious solution?

Thank you for reaching out! One of the things we recommend, especially if you’re switching from a manual to an electric toothbrush, is to use less toothpaste. Our Pro 1000 will do the work for you, and so you only need a very small amount. We’d love to learn more about your experience so we can help further, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
I previously had three Pro 1000 that were older models. The new one I got spins at a lower speed, doesn't have the same options, and doesn't clean nearly as well. For some reason, Oral-B has decided that the options that used to be on the Pro 1000 didn't need to be there, such as the light that shows you're pressing too hard and multiple speeds. They decided that the pro 1500 should have those, since it costs more. I am sending this one back in for repairs, but this will be the last Oral B can I purchase. Very disappointed!

We haven’t made any changes to the Oral-B Pro 1000, Aaron, and we’d like to learn more about your experience so we can help. Please know the Oral-B Pro 1000 CrossAction Rechargeable Toothbrushes don’t come with a pressure sensor light, but it does have a built-in Pressure Sensor that detects when you’re brushing too hard and stops. This model also only has one mode, Daily Clean. We’d like to assist further, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.
