I have had my washer for two months now and am actually loving doing laundry again. Everything comes out so nice and clean with no trace of residue like my last washer. Love that I can do all of my bedding at once and my comforters fit beautifully!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap plastic water inlet valves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great washer but!!!!. the water inlet values are really hard to re attached without stripping. Why not have metal or brass fittings. Kind of shocking on a washer of this price. Needs to do this periodically to clean filters so I know its only a matter of time when these valves will have to be replaced. Disappointing

I like it better than my front load!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the WT5680HWA to replace my aging Sears front load washer and I really agonized about not staying with the front load system. Problem is, I had the mold issue with my front load and I didn't want to go another decade leaving the door open all the time. Wow, am I glad I bought the top load! Neat and tidy - I can now reach shelves above it - and big enough to wash a king size comforter. Plus, it is so quiet and the house doesn't shake when it goes into a spin cycle!!!
Our clothes come out fresh and clean - I see plenty of wash water, unlike some reviews have stated, our machine does it's job with quiet efficiency.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago and absolutely hate it! It has some sort of sensor for loads and it stops every time I try to wash my clothes saying load is not even???? It took me all day to do 1 load of wash and trying to move my wash clothes around so it would finish. Absolutely unacceptable!!!
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE MY WASHER
on August 21, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer two years ago, and I think that is plenty of time to experience and practice all sorts of laundry messes. In a house with 4 adults, a toddler and dog, this washer has never let me down. I love the soak option, something I can set up before heading out in the morning without having to worry about it. Spins forcefully but quietly. Easy to wipe down clean. Easy to set modes for all kinds of soiled levels and temperatures. I almost feel like I don't use as much detergent as previous washers we've had, and yet the clothes stills smells fresh and gets cleaned well. I was worried about how clean clothes would be, since I was raised with the old school washers that had the turn hand in the center. I thought, how will this clean if its not "swishing" and "swashing" the clothes around. Turns out, it's cleans better! Truly great product. Rarely the screen will freeze up on me (it's only happened about twice) but I simply power on and power off reboots it. Great LG product!

GOOD MACHINE SO FAR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HAVE USED THIS MACHINE FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW.IT DOES A GREAT JOB OF WASHING AND IS VERY QUIET EVEN ON THE SPIN CYCLE. I DID, HOWEVER, NOTICE AN ODOR IN THE MACHINE THE SECOND WEEK THAT I USED IT, EVEN THOUGH I RAN THE TUB CLEAN CYCLE WHEN I WAS FINISHED WITH THE WEEK'S LAUNDRY. THE ODOR DID NOT SEEM TO CARRY ONTO THE CLOTHES YET.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about five months ago as the set in our house were from the 90s. Handles everything we have thrown at it well. Only two of us in the household , but when we do towels or comforters it does just as good a job as it does on regular loads.
