Just some observations.

Why is the drain hose so short? There's only about 4 feet of hose so if your Drain, or in our case, sink, is not right next to the machine, you have to buy an extension.
The glass lid worries me. Our Cleaning products are on a cabinet over the washer/dryer. If something should fall on the lid, I worry that it will break the lid.

An incredibly smart machine that is also efficient

We are so happy with this washer. It has a brain that enables it to compute what is necessary to get clean wash at a super efficient level. It is extremely quiet and easy to operate with tons of options. I love the way it adjusts to the wash and the little tune it plays at the conclusion of the cycle is soooo much fun. It's nice having the glass top which seems to be quite sturdy so that you can check on your load. The agitation works nicely without putting wear and tear on your clothes.

Have only been using this top load washer for a little over a month, but performance has been great, lower water comsumption than older washer, better cleaning,quiet,spin cycles for removing water for dryer are fantatic, like I said so far great performance.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

I have a family of 9 so you can imagine the amount of laundry in my home. When our machine died from exhaustion I searched for a new one to handle constant loads. This machine was backordered at every store in my area. Now I know why...I waited about 2 weeks for it to arrive but it was well worth the wait. I LOVE this machine. I can double my loads and wash clothes in half the time. I love the fact that is weighs the clothes and adjusts the time accordingly. With so many features there is no guessing on the settings. Our clothes come out so clean and the kids love the music at the end of the cycle. It is much more pleasant than the normal beep. The first couple of loads that were done we all stood by the machine and watched it wash the clothes. With the glass top it is fun for the kids to watch their clothes wash. They actually want to wash their own laundry now...THANK YOU LG!!! If you purchase this machine you won't be sorry!

We have had this washer for about 2 months and it's been great. I find that I normally use the cotton setting, but have used a couple of the other settings also. It has worked just fine. I am impressed with the small amount of water that it uses, yet everything has been coming out very clean. I'm not sure that I needed such a large machine, since I hesitate to do a small load, but it was great when I needed to wash area rugs.

Great washer! The large capacity is so great for washing large loads of towels and for washing comforters yet the footprint for the unit is essentially the same size as our old washer! It is very quiet and has tons of features. It might seem intimidating at first with all the choices on the control panel, but it is actually easy to get the hang of very quickly. The clothes have been coming out so much cleaner than with our old washer. I am so happy we chose this washer!

I've had this machine about a month now. The capacity on this is amazing. Clothes are always clean. Machine is quiet and easy to use. It levels itself perfectly every time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a new washer. Especially if they have a lot of laundry to do.

This is by fair the best washer I have ever owned. It will accomadate all of the clothing from a family of four. With two teens in the house I am washing clothes all the time, so I have used several different kinds of washers and dryers in my lifetime. The LG washer can handle any stains the first time. I am extremely pleased with the features, where I can customize my laundry settings. I love the chimes when it is finished. The washer and dryer are both very quiet, I do not have to close the door to the laundry room unless I want to.
