Great machine

This is my first time owning such a fancy washing machine. All the features are great. And the steam function is awesome. I look forward to many years of use with this machine.

Control panel should have lasted longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a year and a half ago (8-14-14 and was happy with it. Then, about 3 month ago I noticed there had been a small leak at the rear of the machine and seemed to be off balance. Called the store where I bought it because, fortunately I have a 5 year extended warrantee, and set up an appointment through their service provider. He came out January 14, 2016 and said tub cover and suspension rods were faulty and they had to be ordered. Well, it's taken until March 7th to get all the parts. Some came about a week earlier than that. I had called the repair service provider several times regarding the hold up and kept getting told that the parts "are on backorder". One time I was even told that LG was not manufacturing these individual parts because it was a new machine. Since 2014, I doubt it. I was fortunate I could still use the machine because the leak was intermittent and just a little water. While I'm waiting another two weeks now for the repair service people to come, my machine totally breaks down. I started a load and left the laundry room. Came back and lights on the control panel were flashing and bells were ringing. I couldn't get the machine to turn off so I unplugged it. Plugged it back in, but the same thing - flashing lights and ringing bells. No error code. Got my wet laundry out and called the repair service to add this to the service call. Then I realized I should have gone through the Service Dept. of the store I bought it from. So I called them, they walked me through unplugging the machine, waiting about 5 minutes, plugging back in and the same thing happened. So now it will be about 10 days before repair service can even come out, then they will have to order a part because even though I asked if they could bring a control panel with them I doubt they will. I just hope it doesn't take another 2 months to get this machine fixed. And fix it I will, this time. Can't afford a new one. But I really do think that this machine should have lasted longer than a year and a half. I've had several brands of machines in the past and none ever needed a repair this soon. You can bet I won't be buying an LG again. Just hope the repair of the washer will last awhile and that the LG dryer doesn't break down next. I thought I had a good, dependable product. Guess not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer a six weeks ago and its been great. Easy to use and delay wash is excellent. I have a lot of football jerseys and the delicate cycle comes in handy. Great washer so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. It is large enough to wash a comfort or extra large load. It senses how much is in the wash so as to not waste water. It is also very quiet running and I like that since our bedroom is next to the laundry room!

CLOTHES ARE FINALLY CLEAN

Purchased this washer after 4 repairs were made on a competitor's washer that was only a year and a half old. In the old washer, my clothes did not come out clean and constantly would come out smelling like mildew. Once the new machine was delivered, I could tell the difference on the first load. My clothes come out clean and crisp and I can't believe I didn't go with LG to begin with. Very easy to operate and maintain.
