Works well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this LG washer to replace an old Kenmore that quit working. We were worried that having the controls at the front would be a problem, but it has not been. The washer works great, and it is fun to be able to look inside to see each stage of the washing process.

No one informed me that I would have to purchase something to get my clothes out of the drum! I have tried standing on a stool to get them out but my arms just are not long enough! I think this is wrong!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS IS THE NOSIEST WASHING MACHINE I HAVE EVER OWNED. I HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM AND EVEN WITH THE DOOR CLOSED, WE CAN HEAR IT ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I REPLACED A 6 YEAR OLD LG TOP LOAD MACHINE WITH THIS ONE AND CANNOT BELIEVE THE NOISE DIFFERENCE. IT IS LEVELED CORRECTLY. MAYBE THE NOISE IS DUE TO POOR INSULATION. I DON'T KNOW, BUT IT IS AWFUL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Washer and Dryer

Wife complained about how clothes weren't getting clean, fixed the problem by not filling it up to the very top with clothes. I have no problems with noise from it. My wife has a hard time getting some clothes out from bottom, I am 5'9 and have no trouble at all. Love the steam feature on the dryer, has come in hand many times.

I want to like this washer but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this washer 8mths and I'm rather disappointed. It sounds like a jet taking off in my laundry room on certain cycles and we have to shut the door. Washing sheets, towels, small blankets is a real challenge they enclose themselves, tangle and I usually have to do a 2nd cycle for it to even drain. Not my favorite, but not much I can do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
