Very happy with this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This top loading machine is very easy to operate and there are lots of washing options.
It senses the load weight (I don't have to choose size of load).
The clothes are almost always spun so there is little extra water,
Easy to operate.
Huge tub. I can wash my Queen comforter.
No agitator in the middle of the tub for straps (camisoles etc.)to get stuck or wrapped.
The clothes seem to be cleaned and rinsed adequately.
I spend less time buying detergent (uses smaller amounts of concentrated detergent)
Makes pleasant sounds. Washing sounds (beach) tinkly music the completion of the wash

Awful machine

Have had this machine for 2 years now, and regret the day I purchased it. Synthetic clothing comes out smelling worse than before it was "washed". Towels also never come out smelling clean despite using the "towels" cycle. I have used several different types of "he" detergent with the same result. It doesn't rinse properly - clothes come out with white streaks on them (soap suds) and many times I have to wash my synthetics and towels a second time just to attempt to get them somewhat clean enough to wear without "stinking". Dreadful design. Would never recommend this product, or buy an LG washer again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear you are displeased with your machine. Below you will find directions on performing consecutive tub clean to rid your machine of buildup that may be causing the odor issue. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to contact a service center to have the machine professionally cleaned. Detailed instructions on the required routine maintenance for your machine are located in your owner’s manual to prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future. ^AC
Washing Machine Cleaners: Tide or Affresh
1. Follow Directions on Washing Machine Cleaner (Due to the amount of buildup you may double the tablets on the 1st Cycle) and do 3 Tub Clean Cycles in a Row
2. Use 2 Tablespoons of detergent maximum for a heavy load and 1 Tablespoon for normal loads
3. If you must use fabric softener, use very small amounts and dilute with water before putting in dispenser

Just love my new washer. My clothes have not been this clean for years. Never realized that not having the center agitator could make such a difference. Feature friendly controls are great. Delay wash is just what I needed since I am on the Off-peak usage with my electric company. Thanks for a great product. Only one complaint is I have trouble reaching my clothes in the bottom of the tub.

This washing machine is fantastic. It is so quiet its amazing, it does not vibrate anything in our house unlike our high end old washer that cost twice as much.. The fit and finish is excellent and is nice to look at as well. The features are easy to use and the front panel was an ingenues idea. This machine has lots of great features and was well thought out. The price is also very reasonable for the quality and options this machine has to offer. I highly recommend this washer to anyone looking at it, it is a great deal. The washer was rated number one by consumer reports for a top load washer and it is obvious why they choose it.

The design is superb, the flush look on top makes this washer look beautiful. The amount of clothes that you can fit per load is huge. The capacity almost doubles from what I used to have but with less space. The sound it makes when washing is minimal and with all the features that it has (sanitize, etc) you can't go wrong.

This washer is so much better than my front load washer, not nearly as hard on my clothes. The controls are much easier to use

Have had the Washer (and Dryer) for over a month and can see the difference in buying quality vs price! This machine does a thorough job cleaning our clothes and nearly dries the clothes, as well. Thus less dryer time!!

I love this washer because it fits my small space and does everything it says it will. Huge capacity and stainless steel tub a plus. Cleans very well and is very easy to use.
