[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great so far. We preferred this to a front loader as the front loader never completely emptied the water out, and it made our laundry have a strange smell to it. No such issues with this washer and it is still eco-friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The cycle selection is great, it is efficient, and there is room in the washer for larger loads. I am very happy with this washer and even purchased the dryer to go with it (even though mine was still working).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my washer and dryer 8 months ago. The washer doesn't wash my whites to the standards I' m accustomed to. Both whites and colors come out looking like the water didn't reach all parts of them. And, no, I don't overload the machine. I wash clothes weekly and it's only husband and I.
I have no problem with the dryer.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WT1701CW is a great Washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer 2 months ago, and I do approximately 3 loads a week, and so far I'm very happy with it. I heard they have now replaced it with a 1900 model that isn't half as good. Don't know why they didn't continue this one! I've had no problems with it balancing itself and I am not real careful at loading heavy items on bottom and light on top. I've also run some waterproof items and had no problems with those washing correctly- I ran them on the bulky setting as suggested. It seems to use enough water to get our clothes clean, and the clothes move through the washer. It does have a very deep tub, allowing for about an extra 1/2 load more than my last washer, but it is a stretch for me to reach the bottom of it to remove laundry and I'm 5'7 and long-armed. I also have the matching dryer and it does a nice job as well. I deducted 1 star because even though it has lots of settings some of those settings are locked out depending on the load type you select, so you can't add extra water for example on certain type loads. I wouldn't exactly say it is quiet, as it is right off our kitchen, but it isn't as loud as some I've heard. It's only noisy in the spin mode which is understandable. I may be old fashioned, but I prefer the buttons to be on top or on the back. My cat jumped on the washer today while it was running, and turned it off in mid-cycle, and since I didn't catch it right away, I had to rerun the whole cycle. Overall, I am pleased with this washer though, but this review won't do anyone much good since this washer is discontinued. If you find a used one, BUY it, because I think it is much better than the replacement model,and much better than most other washers out there right now.
