Very disappointed.

This machine does not clean well. I had a front load for years until the door cracked, my husband went on line and brought this one . The tub is deep and doesn't move the clothes around as good as a front load does. It has so many wasted features and cycles.

Buyer Beware unless you are 6 feet or taller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] to reach your washed clothes you must stand on a stool to get your clothes from the bottom of the tub and I am 5' 7''. Beware if you don't have height of 6' or more. also with on/off panel in the front of the washer when you bend over to reach items you accidentally turn on the buttons and start a wash. poor placement.

Bad Odor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a few months ago for a new house we built. At first all was well. Nice looking and cleans well, but lately there is a strong molding sewer-ish smell coming from it. Its bad! Cant figure it out. Might need to get with the warranty department on this unit.
Pros: Style/Design

Love this washer!

We have had this washer for 6 months now and I love it! It dose take some getting used to because it is so different from our old washer with the agitator. I like how it uses very little water, but if you choose the bulky bedding cycle it will fill up all the way. Our clothes smell great and come out clean. It doesn't get that nasty smell like the front loaders do, there is a small door that can be left open to air out the washer, so the lid doesn't have to be left open. I recommend this washer.

A washing machine should clean clothing!
on August 28, 2015

The machine does not clean the cloths due to the lack of an agitator. The machine does more "Sensing" than actually washes the cloths. LG and other manufacturers that make HE washing machines are missing the fundamental reason why consumers buy washing machines. I buy a washing machine to CLEAN my cloths. We have returned this machine and bought a machine with an agitator. Guess what, the new machine actually cleans my cloths. What a concept!

Stay away from this washer DO NOT PURCHASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made the mistake of purchasing this inferior product. It looks nice and the front mounted controls are nice, too bad they are completely useless. It has a feature called "load sensing". This non by-passable feature determines the amount of water required by twitching the dry load then spinning the dry load doing a tarot card reading, clicking the whole time. Then it either spits out enough water to dampen the load and proceeds to grind the damp load coated with the partly dissolved detergent in the tub or it will overfill the tub, floating the load well above the agitator. The laundry remains floating until it pumps out all of the gallons of wasted water out. Your clothes remain dirty but now they are dirty and wet. We have tried all of the settings and maybe one in ten loads actually gets washed somewhat clean. If there was anyway we could return this and get something with less voodoo in the features we would in a heartbeat. We need to buy another machine but it is against my nature to throw out something months old that costs hundreds of dollars. It would probably work if it would let you determine how much water was required but it doesn't allow that.

HORRIBLE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can not believe I bought this thing. Hate this piece of junk washer...... Don't waste your money. Normal wash is 59 minutes and cloths are still not clean, Are you kidding me LG? It sure does move around a lot like its doing something, but watching your cloths barely get wet and stay in the same spot for 59 minutes is rediculous........... I can drive to laundry mat faster or wash cloths in a bucket and get better results. And if that's not bad enough, the steam dryer is terrible too (never completely dries cloths. Cloths are damp and cold, no matter how long you put them on for) So now I have a washer that never cleans the cloths and a dryer that has to be turned on 2-3 times. So disgusted I wasted so much money on these products. What made me choose these, was the recommendation of the salesman telling me, LG is the best in the industry. NO that's false. if they were the best, I wouldn't be writing this. Would have never replaced my 10 year old whirl pool front loader if they fit in the laundry room of new house. Wish there was a satisfactory money back guarantee. I would drop them off.....
