Well thought out Engeering platform design

My previous GE Ref. exceeded my expetations so I decided to replace with another GE. The purchased product met Engineering expetations including fit, function and performance to this point in time..

Constant Issues and Repairs

Constant issues with the fan and the touch panel. After replacing the panel 3 times, the fan 3 times, and computer once, they finally replaced the entire appliance. Even with the new appliance there are still issues with the touch panel. So, with diagnostics and repairs, that's 8 wasted Saturdays, and much spoiled food. I was warned against buying a GE refrigerator, and loved the look of this so much that I ignored the warnings, much to my dismay.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The double ice maker feature is great. You have your top door one for everyday use and then you have the one in the freezer for when you lots of ice on hand in a hurry. You can have 1 on, both on, or none. The locking feature on the touch panel is great, use it all the time. Plus this is great if you have kids that can reach it, then they can't pour water out all over the floor!
Love the bottom drawer with temperature control for what you have in it. Lots of space in door compartments, overall a great frig!
