I have always wanted a french door refrigerator and this one was definitely worth the wait. It's got a ton of room and I love that the kids only have to open one side to get to the milk or drinks instead of standing there with the entire thing open. The freezer is actually bigger than I thought it would be as well.

Love the finish

Love the double stay open doors & the finish! Never had bottom freezer before but am getting used to it. The only thing I wish was different is the control panel should be back-lighted so it would be easier to see.

I chose GE because I wanted to buy an American made product.
I cannot give a credible review on a product that I have only owned 2 months. I don't believe anyone can. This is a replacement, GE provided, for a similar GE refrigerator that I had many problems with, however I am very grateful that GE sent us a new replacement. I installed a data logger in this one to closely monitor it's performance. I'll give a long term review if asked.

Very roomy refrigerator

I bought in slate finish which I have received many compliments on. The refrigerator is a little noisy and the water dispenser drips a bit after using, but overall this is a very nice refrigerator. Very roomy and well lit inside--I had plenty of room for my Thanksgiving meal dishes which was a first!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the wide open spacious space because everything is easy to find and wide shelf space also convenient ice dispenser an extra ice bin everything fits perfectly

Great Refrigerator

Having had multiple refrigerator purchase failures across several brands we decided to try a GE. Even though we were not fans of French Doors, the refrigerator has met or exceeded all our expectations. The only suggestion I would have would be to be able to set the refrigerator temperature to lower than 34 degrees

We replaced a side by side that had inconsistent refrigerator side temperature settings in all areas with this French Door model, we can't be more thrilled with its performance. The fruit and vegetable bins are maintaining those environments perfectly. The LED interior lighting is spectacular to say the least. Both ice makers are keeping up with the demand. Was concerned about stated noise level in some reviews, but have not encountered anything out of the ordinary subtle fan noise.
