Have had this refrigerator about 6 months, in our new home. Works great, quiet, set up efficiently. Love the freezer on the bottom.

I have only had a dorm frig the past 10 yrs so took a couple hours to select this one which had everything I had on my wish list plus a couple extra features.

ROOMY BUT WHATS UP WITH THE TOP?

THIS WAS JUST INSTALLED A WEEK AGO ALONG WITH OTHER COORDINATING APPLIANCE. IT IS SO ROOMY THAT AFTER I WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE IT STILL LOOKED EMPTY. IT WILL BE GREAT FOR FAMILY GET TOGETHERS AND PARTIES. HOWEVER, I WAS CLEANING AFTER OUR RECENT REMODEL AND WHEN I WENT TO WIPE OFF THE TOP OF THE REFRIGERATOR I REALIZED THAT IT IS NOT A FLAT SURFACE ON TOP. IT WILL BE A DEFINITE DUST COLLECTOR. WHEN LOOKING AT REFRIGERATORS I NEVER THOUGHT TO CHECK OUT THE TOP. IF I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS AND THE DESIGN FLAW OF THE RANGE I THINK I WOULD HAVE DONE MORE RESEARCH AND POSSIBLY CONSIDERED ANOTHER BRAND. NOT IMPRESSED WITH GE DESIGN ENGINEERS.
