Water filters don't last - that equals $$$$

The water filters last for about a month and are ridiculously expensive to replace. If you don't replace the filter (before the warning light even comes on mind you) then the flow rate of the water slows down dramatically to the point it is not functional. This adds hundreds of dollars of maintenance each year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased 10 new GE appliances and have enjoyed the slate color. My wife especially has enjoyed how well the dishwasher has preformed.

Have to keep a paper towel in the tray under the water and ice dispenser to collect the drips from ice and water. We love everything else.

A few months after purchase the lower freezer leaked water from ice maker into lower drawer. This caused all my food to be frozen in and I could not remove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very spacious and quiet. Easy to visualize all items. Best of all my children are drinking more water with the easy to use ice/water dispenser.
