had side by side before. This is so much spacious although the same size. Easy to organize the shelves and things on the door. We love it.

Great features, love the Bottom Freezer

I had a side by side GE Refrigerator for the last 10 years, which was the first time I had ever had that model. I was so ready to go back to a Bottom freezer, the refrigerator has so much more room, which was what I missed. The door bids are so large, my husband loves it holds so much of his beverages and they easy to reach. Love the adjustable shelves and the large bin .

Exceptional features and design

New to this GE appliance and so far no regrets.
Control panel on doorway displays all frig temperatures and settings when activated.
Interior compartment illuminated nicely with LED lighting throughout.
Fairly quiet operation.
2 ice makers one in doorway and freezer.
Lots of storage througout.
Sliding drawers in freezer compartment.

For most part we have been extremely happy with this fridge even tho we had to purchase it without being able to see it. Ordered one model and was told it was discontinued and would not be able to get it for us - this was our only option but no one in the entire state had one we could look at. Not happy with this process. It is a little on the loud side.

screen displays

I bought this appliance less than 2 weeks ago and am very pleased but there is a display on the left door screen of 2 characters and I have not been able to find out what they mean. There is an upside down F followed by a right side up F. None of the booklets and or the website have any mention of screen displays or what they mean.

Having just purchased this appliance, I can only speak to the initial few days I have had it operating. The refrigerator is amazing in its design and operation.
Both the refrigerator and freezer sections are maintaining their set temps accurately, as measured by thermocouple probe thermometers.
The ice makers produce ice in a reasonable time-frame, and the front door dispenser delivers both ice and water very well. I like the height of the dispenser well, it is great for both tall glasses and pitchers.
The operational sounds are not bothersome. I know that this is a subjective observation, but my hearing is good, and our kitchen is open to the living room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and Efficient

This unit replaced a 9 year old comparable competitor's model. I was very pleased to find out how incredibly quiet this new model is! Also, in going from about 50 degrees in the delivery truck, it only took about an hour for the unit to reach operating temps. It made it's first batch of ice (in both ice makers) in four hours. I've only had it installed for a little over 6 hours, but it is amazing as compared to what was replaced. Quick cooling and so quiet (it is near our great room, which with our old model was very distracting due to the fan and other noises). So much storage in this new unit (again, same cubic feet as the old one). Well done by GE here, you all hit a homer with this top of the line unit!
