We bought this fridge in February, and everything looked and worked great until June. Items in the fridge drawers starting freezing and the fridge got noticeably louder. Then the refrigerator section stopped cooling completely. Took a few days for a service tech to come out and replace the board in the fridge, which did not fix the issue.
After another call to GE, a second service call was scheduled but earliest available was over a week out. Good thing we didn't get rid of the previous refrigerator! This time a fan was replaced and the software updated. Seems to be working so far over the last month; hopefully it lasts.
Overall, an okay refrigerator with a great look, but disappointed in the issues within the first six months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty pleased. Pretty small ice reservoir. Runs out fast when you have company and doesn't replenish very rapidly.

Love the color!

It quit working within the first month we owned it. The repairman had no idea of what the problem was, but he put a new fan on it, and that seemed to do the trick. It makes me nervous, but it's been working fine since. It came with no manual, and we don't know how to shut it off so it can be cleaned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Lights

Love the lights but this is a noisy refrigerator. I never noticed my previous refrigerator but this makes a lot f noises.

Not too happy with it

I was very impressed with the slate finish. Looks very nice. However in the recent model the ice dispenser was changed. The previous model has a nice stainless steel finish. This one looks very plasticky and cheap. I bought it because I needed the slate finish and had no other options. Not happy with the temperatures too. Food spoils mush faster than my old GE refrigerator. The temperature setting can goes only as low as 34 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
