We had this same model before, bought same one to fit in my granite cutout. Turntable different, door sounds cheap when you close it & is very loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave was in an upgraded kitchen package in our home. We have had many issues with our GE appliances. After 2 years the door is falling off the microwave! and we hardly use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're awfully sorry to hear that you have been having issues with your appliances and that the door is falling off of your microwave. We do understand how aggravating that can be.
Federal law requires that any adjustment or repair of a microwave door also be followed up by a leak test to make sure of proper fit, operation, and alignment. This must be done by a qualified technician.
Replacing microwave or Advantium handles requires disassembly of the door, and therefore also should be replaced by a service technician. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm .

Way too loud!

I have no idea why you would make the fan, the one that runs while the microwave is being used, so loud. It is at least as loud as the “low” vent option. Easily louder than any other microwave I have owned. Pretty disappointing to say the least.
