Does everything we need it to do

We love our microwave. It's easy to use and does everything we need it to do. This is our second GE microwave. We had one in another home and likes it so much we got another one

Less expensive but you get what you pay!

This is the 2nd place I’ve had this particular microwave and it’s awful. Never had a microwave where the food smell remains for days after using it, especially anything dairy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not like my old one

Our 3 year old microwaves mother board went out so it was smarter to get a new one, However the one we wanted was going to take another month to get in so we settled on a cheaper one. The fan is much louder than the previous one

Too noisy when close

It is loud when I close the door. Usually when you close a microwave door is nothing that loud.

Fairly good appliance. Only thing is the microwave door slams pretty easily because it's very loose. Hopefully the next model would have a slower smoother closing mechanism.

If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave.
