Love the mute feature

So far, we have found this microwave to be entirely satisfactory. It does what a microwave is supposed to do with no fuss, muss or bother. We really appreciate the mute feature since we're usually in the kitchen when we're using the microwave and are aware when it's done. One less thing to beep at us!

typical middle of the road microwave

This GE microwave is the 3rd GE microwave we have purchased---they typically don't seem to last longer than 5 years. Our last one was less than 3 years old. Our new purchase is a bit quieter than the last, but other than that, is like most of the rest purchased. One pet peeve of the appliance is the keypad - it is not lighted! Consequently, we must use a flashlight when lower light to see what we are pressing!!! It's very annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only issue is when using a mug to heat a beverage, I get an error message at the end of the cycle.

Good looking microwave. Recirculating Vent fans blow strong but suction is very weak. food needs to be heated longer than most other ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
