Looks good but there is a noise when you first start it. Kind of like a vibration but does stop not sure if that’s normal. But other microwaves I’ve had never did

I am very happy with the size and functions of this product. It's a beautiful microwave, but it seems extra loud when in use, also when the vent is on

Good Features, Questionable Durability

This GE Profile over the range microwave replaced a 14 year old competitor’s microwave. Immediately, I noticed a difference in the feel of the door when opening and closing. And, this GE sounds more flimsy when opening and closing, if that makes sense. The GE just doesn’t have that solid, weighty feeling like our old one did. I only hope that the door and door switch hold up over time - fingers crossed. While there are several purchase options, this was the only in-stock unit that fit the space above our range. The others were too tall to clear our granite backsplash.
